This is a big deal considering the PS5 and Series X both cost the same as do the games. I think that next-gen is all about Native 4K at 30-60FPS. I think that the PS5 isn't a full next-gen console like the Xbox Series X. It just blows my mind that the PS5 is priced the same as the Series X when it's less powerful and doesn't offer a full next-gen experience. I'd be frustrated if I had a PS5. I was frustrated with the PS4 Pro when I realized that the Xbox One X was able to play games in Native 4K that the PS4 Pro couldn't.

It’s not better it’s just a different approach 1800p locked 60fps and 2160p not 60fps locked. Remember Valhalla has higher overall resolution and less frame drops on ps5. They go like back and forward. And btw you never know how much Microsoft payed hitman 3 to work better on xbsx :))

I think it is more powerful but not that it will matter, what will matter the most will be the games and with ms getting more studio exclusives is going to be a very close fight.

I don’t think one victory out of numerous losses means much. It’s not a dev kit issue, it’s a bottleneck issue. As Cerny said, tflops aren’t everything & means nothing when it comes to performance.

As an owner of both the PS5 and SX these differences between the two consoles are trival in person while playing. Watching these DF videos can sometimes give you the impression that one version of the game is substantially better than the other.
However most of the time you can't even tell when the framerate dips for a second or if one is running at a slightly lower resolution than the other when you're actually sitting in front of the TV and playing. 1800p vs 4k is VERY hard to tell apart unless you're comparing screenshots at 400% zoom.
There's never been a console generation before where two competing consoles share so much similar tech and are so close in overall processing power. Fanboys are literally fighting over 5% to 10% differences in framerate or resolution.
At the end of the day both consoles are capable of giving you a true nextgen gaming experience that are leagues better than the PS4 or Xbox One.

Even the frame dips on HM3 are being patched, as a bug with the renderer and certain particle effects. They are patching it out.

Its runs 60 1080p also on the ps4 pro. Ima ask y'all again. Are u sure this game cant run native 4k on the ps5. if this game can run on the pro at 45-48 frames on average at 1440p but a solid 60 at 1080p the same resolution as the series s. The series s should able to do 1440p at 60 rite? Y'all talking about tools. The tools should also apply to the series s as well. Ps5 douche router is rather pathetic actually, no good games, no Dolby Atmos or 3D audio, only 1080p support on gaming monitors, no quick resume, no full RDNa2 features, and the games are 100$ each instead of 1$ for Gamepass. Why would anyone buy the ugly ass thing?
