  1. Sony can only be traditional for so long…while the gaming industry is changing. I'll say in the next 8 to 9 years. Gaming is gonna be big on streaming games+ the cloud everywhere. Instead of 1 console

  2. Scummysoft is using bethesda as leverage over sony to out game pass on the play station and make xbox a truly useless console.

I'll never buy a xbox again.

Bethesda games are exclusive to game pass so no steam or playstation as I said scummysoft.

I hope bethesda TANKS.and they are forced to put out es6.

  3. It can't be good in the end if Microsoft buys everything can it??? Because it isn't good for all consumers in the end if they do. What I am going to do is buy another PS5 😀 just to stick 2 fingers up at Microsoft(yep I hate them) 😀

  4. People are forgetting something very important financially here. Sony would not have had to spend 7 billion to buy Zenimax. Xbox had to spend that amount of $ because when your games are put on xbox they go to game pass & they are FREE. If Sony buys your company & your games go on PS, people still have to buy your games. So buying a studio PS owns those games but they could structure the deal such that they are paying for full game exclusivity & the publisher could still get a smaller cut of the profit of game sales. So I would bet Sony would not have to spend as much at the onset to purchase an entire publisher.

  5. I have been a gamer since original Atari, i have 77 platinums, many are indies yeah, but thing is, it gets expensive buying indie games, and even more expensive buying bigger games. 80% of the indie games I paid for are all free with Game Pass subscription. Game Pass saves consumers, thats just the reality any way you look at it. As soon as I find another Series X, I will sell my PS5 and go back to Series X for Game Pass mostly. Game Pass recently added Dirt 5, Madden 21 and so many more big games, not to mention all Bethesda games, EA Play also. If you like spending lots of money on games, PS5 is for you, if you like saving money, Series X and Game Pass is where it at..

  6. I'm puzzled at the amount of people who seem to be in denial and have completely mis-interpreted what Phil Spencer said.

Here is his statement in full:

"So obviously I can’t sit here and say every Bethesda game is exclusive, because we know that’s not true. There’s contractual obligations that we’re going to see through, as we always do in every one of these instances. We have games that exist on other platforms, and we’re gonna go support those games on the platforms they’re on. There’s communities of players and we love those communities and we’ll continue to invest in them. And even in the future there might be things that have contractual things, or legacy on different platforms that we’ll go do. But if you’re an Xbox customer, the thing I want you to know is that this is about delivering great exclusive games for you that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists. That’s our goal, that’s why we’re doing this, that’s the root of this partnership that we’re building".

I think it's very loud and clear what he is saying.   Games which won't be exclusive are the legacy titles (Bethesda games you can currently play across all platforms) and contractualy obligated titles (Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop and possibly Indiana Jones).   New titles such as the next Doom, the next Elder Scrolls, the next Fallout, the next Wolfenstein and Starfield will all be exclusive to the Xbox/PC/X-Cloud eco-system and won't be coming to the PS5, Switch, Luna, Stadia, Oculus etc.

  8. Hi MBG. Are you gonna do anything about the hundreds of xbot/PC beggar that are lurking in your channel and comment section? You should do what MadZ Gaming does. That guy is an xbox fanatics and he heavily monitors his comment section and deletes/bans any users who might be playstation oriented and keeps his comment section 100% xbox biased.

  9. Microsoft doesn't see sony as a competitor. They said it themselves. Can sony spend close to 8 billion dollars on publisher ? If they can't they're not competition to microsoft.

  10. Listen people lay your dumb fanboytardation aside and acknowledge the fact that this is a huge purchase. Sony imo needs to counter this. This gen Microsoft is coming out with a bang. I love PS but as a fan of ps, Microsoft has my attention more especially with this and gamepass.

  11. Been a Playstation gamer since the beginning when the original Playstation released.

Playstation games have gotten better in quality throughout the years and i really can't wait to see what Sony 1st party studios can deliver from the PlayStation 5 looking forward to the next AstroBot and PSVR 2.

Playstation 5 is a great machine with alot of potential been enjoying mine alot the performance is brilliant.

Recently I just bought my first gaming PC so I'm ready for games like The Evil Within 3 or anything that is good that doesn't release on the PS5 I can still play and experience.

  12. What do 3rd party publishers look for when they decide which platform to develop on? GAME SALES. And the biggest game sales are generally on PlayStation consoles.

ms pushing gp will only benefit ms in the long run. There nothing there for 3rd parties except a cheque down the line when game sales dry up.

  13. PsNow is sony's closest thing and smarter business move, take games that have sold through and give them another life on psNow, then temporarily add recent exclusives to keep people interested. MS needs MANY more millions of subscribers to make their game pass viable. Eventually their price will hike and only the hardcore will be left using it imo, but dropping first party exclusives to a service won't allow those games to make big money when sold individually at 60/70 a pop

  14. What if the fact that the geforce allows xbox to play death stranding is the reason that last conference call Phil Spencer put a death stranding mini next to the Xbox logo? He was bound to know that this update would allow that, this new web browser!

  15. In all honesty I am very happy with this. Mainly because I do on a PC, and by the time there’s a game coming out for PlayStation but I can’t play on the PS4 I can just buy a PS five for a couple hundred bucks and then I will be able to play all the games there is. So I’m not really worried about exclusivity and all the stuff I am more pleased with the competition because nowThere should be better games coming out of this hopefully
