Radukar and More Cursed City Adversaries Available Separately | Games Workshop Preorder News Updates

Always Board Never Boring is back with a quick round-up of news regarding preorders for 15 May 2021 and forthcoming preorders for 22 May 2021. It looks like characters from the Warhammer Quest Cursed City board game are already being made available as separate purchases, which seems like the final nail in the coffin for hopes of a reprint. In other news, preorders for vampires are flying out the door (see what we did there?).

  1. Two wrongs do not make a right, but the only wrong done here was the decision to discontinue Cursed City on release day. Not releasing these models separately would have been the second wrong as it's the least they can do, and I'm glad there is another chance to purchase the Vargskyr.

Now if they could release the explorers alongside the witch hunters for the final book of Broken Realms, that would be appreciated too.

  2. The game models being re-released a week after the live stream where people were blocked for asking about cursed city comes off as pretty gross imho. The newer stuff looks cool, but I won't be buying until there is an inevitable fan expansion for CC using them. Instead, all the CC drama has me looking back at the awesome fan mods for Silver Tower and Hammerhal.

  3. will radukar the wolf be treated as radukar the beast in the battletome? or do they have different abilities? because i really dont like the latter miniature

  4. I'm still holding on for CC reprint with expansion releases….or nothing more from GW….lots of great options in US to support smaller/indy projects

  5. I'm fine with the Cursed City sprues being released because, ultimately, people wanted the models more than the game. CC butthurt aside, in order to include them in a Gravelord army you need to take the entire block for an obscene amount of points..and, well, quite frankly their warscrolls suck.

  6. I got in 3 games of Silver Tower, so it was a very good weekend indeed. Yeah, many of these will be instant sell-outs. I was surprised to see the Cursed City villains made available so quickly, but… I guess it makes sense to release them alongside the army book, etc. I keep waiting for them to release the Necromunda Cawdor book & Redemptionist models they've previewed… I've got a campaign that starts in a month and GW is cutting it close! lol

  7. I am curious if the CC models were planned to release like that so close to the main game or the situation forced them. Truth is a lot of ppl who bought the game just wanted the models and straight up went and ebayed the rest. So you might be able to find just cards, tokens, dice hence GW thought they can supply the one think that they can produce. With zombies/skellies getting their own release you mostly miss the heroes and some markers. Maybe they do heroes too down the line. Still not the best way to go about it but perhaps better than nothing for those who are still looking for the game.

  8. CC was my first dungeon crawler since….. warhammer quest and I don`t buy or play any GW products, so CC felt right with its design, vampires and knowing it be supported was key for me. I want to get into "shadows of brimstone" but hunting that stuff down and the company is slow in getting stuff out. So I turn to GW knowing they have the money and people to make games and expansions…..

Boy… what a shit show… and the silence..? Maybe its not about shipping, or cardboard.. it must be a bigger problem, but the silence is madness. And now i see they are soulbright items that people will do cards for…great.. but bloody pre orders means they gone again in minutes….

Can I trust them again with a new product ? No..

Loving the videos….. you never boring

  9. Not too fussed about them releasing the CC miniatures to me just means people will have a chance to get them, hoping it's not like £80 for all of them but sadly recon it will be, if they did them separately it would be better
