  1. Real talk, I almost never agreed with 30 until Fridays show. Everybody saying he doesn't understand live service games is unable to articulate a coherent counter argument. It's basically just saying "nuh uh!!"

Oh, and his painting analogy was terrible. That's only applicable to games that would be the exact same when you bought it indefinitely. Everything else was very well said though.

As far as cheating goes, a good comparison is to policing. If you have high crime and you double your police force, you'll have more arrests, but crime doesn't go down. In order for crime to go down, there needs to be PREVENTION as well. If they don't actively have that piece as well, all they're doing is chasing the cheaters AFTER they've already cheated.

  2. Er, with respect i feel 30' is quite out of touch with Destiny 2. I understand he hasn't been playing much lately, which is totally fine and his call to make but it lends him to be very negative and to have many opinions formed of the vanilla Beyond Light experience – that is to say valid as of two months ago but not so much now. I'm hyper critical of Bungie and Destiny 2 itself but it comes from a place of wanting things to improve and holding them (Bungie) accountable to listening to their community and following up on their promises. 30's commentarty seems to suggest he loathes the game and can't stand talking about it, let alone play it and sadly this doesn't really come across well.

  3. 30' if you "hate businesses that sell stuff you've already bought back to you" then you are IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. Computer games are IN GENERAL all variations on a theme and will always be able to be traced back to a common place – or was Destiny the first game you've played with WASD movement?
Seems a poor attitude and insulting your audience is never a good look.

  4. Bungie needs to do one thing before implementing an Idea. Go to the Reddit, the Forums and take a Poll. If the overwhelming majority do not support XYZ Idea, then don’t implement it. If the overwhelming Majority wants XYZ idea, then implement it. But in the poll, explain the Idea and why you want to do it and let people decide what is good for the game. Warframe is so successful is because Digital Extremes literally listens to player feedback. Bungie can learn a thing or two from DE.

  5. PvP better not come out for Outriders. If people want PvP go play Apex or Fortnite. PVP destroyed the Power Fantasy of Destiny cause of the Nerfs. I want Outriders to be a PVE Only game like Borderlands and Diablo 3. If PvP ever comes to Outriders, then I will not be playing it.
