In todays video I’m showing off my raid proof base design and solid home Base build! I was inspired to build this when I got a pretty big swamp purge my way, so to stop them naughty skeletons bashing down my doors, I’ve put in some serious measures!

Moats are great, since AI doesn’t like crossing steep drops, you can optionally do palisades but I like them because it protects all your inside content from archers

I love the look of the base. It looks awesome and strong. I love moat bases. Any base I can build with a moat, I do. hehe.
I have a similar moat system but trolls can still swing from the other side and damage the spike walls.

I havent bought this game yet, but ive been looking to. I understand its pve, up to ten player coop, so the "raids" in question are carried out by monsters/npcs?

Raids??? NPC raids correct? There is no pvp in this game…least for raids.

Dry moats were actually pretty common in the past, and as long as enemies can't jump across it doesn't matter if there's water in the bottom.
