Aatrox is usually pretty tough for Thresh. His passive hurts a lot even if you dodge the Qs, and you never wanna get hit by W. Thresh also has a pretty hard time outtrading Aatrox, so basically you just don’t. Luckily, the CC of Thresh helps a ton for keeping Aatrox down in ganks and teamfights, and if you stay back, you can farm in relative safety. If you’re desperate, Aftershock and Bone Plating can really soften Aatrox blows.
This one went Sunfire though, so pretty easy not gonna lie. Aatrox needs his AD, and his Cleaver against any kind of armor, especially Bramble Vest.

Hopefully we’ll go again against a better Aatrox.

Ranked climb is slow and steady but it’s happening. Follow me on Twitch and subscribe on YouTube to keep up with it. I used to only play Ranked to get the victorious skin each season but now I am (slowly) aiming for much higher… well, as high as I end up really. As of now, I’m playing Ranked casually just because it has more fair matchmaking (usually) than the clustercluck of normals.

I do NOT recommend AD Thresh for Ranked climbing, that’s just what I do. There are many FAR more consistent ways to play for Elo than this, and probably easier to learn and manage.

  12. At what point in the game did you annihilate the Aatrox as you claimed in the title?
    Aside from cleaning up kills after team fights that you weren’t present in I saw no contribution from your side, only after going all the way to almost full build were you useful in one hit.
    I understand to some naked baby eyes your score reflected as if you were useful but aside from farming and not even winning towers, you were just there, looking to last hit the champions like you did so well against the minions.
    20 minutes how to farm lane with thresh would have been a better title.
