To be clear Knox, that wasn't Volibear, those were his followers. Volibears religious fanatics (Volibear is a Demigod of Freljord), tend to incarnate primal instincts, and the closer they become to the Primal power of the Freljord, the close they resemble Volibear. Some are able to go in and out of transformation, and those were probably transformed in order to fight Sejuani.
