Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart – The Final Preview (4K)

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is shaping up to be a PS5 showpiece. Our in-depth preview delves into environments, weapons, and how Spider-Man shaped it.

Insomniac showed some of the opening tutorial along with a big action set piece starring the new co-protagonist Rivet. The studio also shared loads of details on weapon and environment design, the influence of its other recent hit Spider-Man, and how it’s using the DualSense to make the weapons feel better than ever. Check out the video to hear our impressions on all the new additions coming to Ratchet & Clank’s (and Rivet’s) next planet-hopping adventure.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will release exclusively for PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2021. For more coverage on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, including our review, consider subscribing to GameSpot. 1. Previews one month before release. That’s that PS confidence were all use to.
    BUT
Why do I get the feeling that SONY is tryna push this out the door super fast and get on to what’s coming next…
What Evers coming next would have to be bigger than this. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Horizon is that you?

  2. I love how they made Ratchet look like a cross between the 2016 ps4 model and ACiT model which gets the best of both worlds. As great as the 2016 model looks he looks more kiddy lol. ACiT has that subtle angry look from the ps2 games which I love

  3. here before xbox fanboys realise this game will probably be a native 4k30fps or 60fps without ray tracing, can’t wait for their awful take on this. while they get their 120fps games that look like a baked potato

  4. Which Ratchet will we get though? The generic, watered down one we've been getting since these remakes or the devil may care, heroic to the occassion, sassy Ratchet that we grew up with

  5. If I had a PS5 I would get this game. The presentation looks clean. The more I see of the game the more I want to play it. The good thing is that it will be cheaper by the time I can find a PS5 in stores in 2023.

Returnal for $70 vs this for $70. Seems like they are in different leagues.

  6. I would buy an ratchet and clank trilogie remake or A Crack in Time remake with better controls and better graphics/visuals. If it has all that i would buy it for the full price on ps4 (and maybe ps5)
