When I saw the trailer I thought it might be a fan-edit, but then it started popping up everywhere on YT… I know I didn't see it coming, even with Ridley and K. Rool having been added to complement their respective heroes. Would have preferred another FF hero like Squall, but it's nice to have more villains.
Loved that bit where you moved your camera in front of that NFL(?) commentator guy and started mimicking him. XD

I had an inkling that Sephiroth was a possibility somewhere down the line, but at the moment, I was genuinely surprised. The folks making Smash sure know how to hold people's continued interest.

Plot twist in my imagination
#Sora from #KingdomHearts was about to go to #SuperSmashBrosUltimate to join #FFVIICloudStrife for a friendly match like old times from Hercule's World in that Colosseum. But #Sephiroth meanwhile was trying to find Cloud. Somehow he knows where Cloud was hiding seeing Sora's invitation and stole it after defeating him. Now Cloud would face him again since the Mono-winged angel wants to kill every smash character including Cloud.

You know Sephiroth's the real threat when even Cereza couldn't beat him.
I liked Maximillion Dood's thoughts on Sephiroth being in Smash and how Smash has a lot of "bad guys" from their respective franchises in it, though they're all largely just misunderstood or something else that having a friend could of solved. But he states that Sephiroth is the first truly evil "Bad Guy" to come into Smash, since Sephiroth is probably the only one in the roster that would actively try and kill every single one of them.
