  1. I don't mean to be a jerk but comments are for mean feedback anyway, right? This video was 90% dudes explaining stuff. "Reacting" to the visuals loudly over all of the news and information wasn't optimal.

  2. The game has Ahri (The fox girl), I'm automatically in. I have mained Ahri in League for 8 years. I have every skin, chroma, icon etc… I don't know if I'm a simp or a character loyalist. Regardless, I'm happy.

Game looks pretty good so far, some frame rate/lag issues it seems already, but they'll iron those out. Rollback is always a plus. And Darius' super looks REALLY cool. Ahri's needs a bit of work, probably some camerawork and more effects and it'll be fine. Ekko looks fun but also super annoying (in a good way, fun mix ups) with his teleporting. And Jinx exists, just doing Jinx things. I saw Katarina in the background too, I bet she'll be SUPER annoying. She's just Ekko's teleports on crack (in League, she has a teleport and when she kills someone, all of her abilities cooldowns get reduced by 15 seconds so she just blinks EVERYWHERE during fights if she gets going)

God seeing how much effort they're putting into this, it just makes me think of Granblue. As much as I love Granblue, I think Granblue could've been so much more if they actually supported it more than just DLC characters. They had the right idea of making it beginner friendly, like Riot is doing with this game, but the communication wasn't there like Arc Sys has done with GG Strive and it didn't have the netcode either.

  3. Man riot is really becoming a top developer. Almost everything they touch is gold. Playing through ruined king now and it's great, arcane was great, legends of runeterra and tft are great, i don't play valorant but it's pretty damn successful. I cannot wait for the eventual MMO. Kinda wish they'd make an action roguelike with the gameplay and upgrades from that odyssey game mode from a few years ago.

  4. I love the Artstyle. Really nice. I've played a small hit of LOL and my fav is Jinx. So I have a main in mind already. The gameplay looked badass and I love that after Mirage like powers. It's pretty clever and cool. Punishing Rage-Quits should be in everything tbh. I wonder will they add the same roster change they do in LOL. Like how each week (if I remember right) they change the roster of characters you can play for free. Something similar for DLC characters where you can try them out and if you like them you can buy the DLC.

  5. Riot has very recently proved that they are not simply leaning on League of Legends when it comes to making other games and media regarding their IP. Arcane and the recent new games show that they are willing to put in the time and money towards hiring third parties that are going to give these games the effort they deserve, and I am so here for it. Very much looking forward to this fighter.

  6. I'm not that much into fighting games. I like to watch. And maybe play a round of SC2 with a friend from time to time just to get obliterated by a GOD DAMN RAPHAEL. But hey, this looks cool as heck.

  7. 9:29 based.
The new cinematic is so good it almost makes you forget the game is dogshit.
That being said, the cardgame, autochess and new turn based rpg are pretty fucking good as long as you ok with the genre.
I've been playing the cardgame since the beta and the only thing stopping me from proclaiming it's the best cardgame ever is the fact i know nothing about magic, so i can't compare.

  8. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. I played a lot of LoL when I was younger, but after highschool I didn't have anyone to play with, and didn't like playing with online strangers, so I eventually dropped it.

That said, I loved a lot of the characters, and fighting games are a great way to bring action characters to life in an interactive medium.

I'm hoping the graphics will be improved after the trailer. I like the models and backgrounds, but the characters blend into the background a bit too much for my liking. I'm fully expecting them to amp up the special effects later, but they feel a little lacking so far.

While I'm not familiar with how things are going these days, it could also be a good opportunity to shine a light on less popular/meta characters. For example, I remember when I played, Quinn was considered both bad and had a kit that meant she poorly fit into the meta team comps, but it might be cool to have a close range shooter with a Ken/Koromaru-style pet in a fighting game, or maybe as a summon for certain attacks like a stand. Then again, people probably also want to see the popular characters in the game, too.

  9. Riot have been really busy recently. Makes sense that this trailer came out one day after the release of the final three episodes of Arcane on Netflix. Other than that, they're releasing a bunch of games with the suffix "A League of Legends Story" added to their name under the project name Riot Forge. The company is really branching out into other genres and medias and it's a good thing for everyone.

  10. Glad they're implementing leaver penalty. You already know League players gonna smash that Alt + F4 the second they get stuck in one combo. More fighting games need this feature.

  11. I'm a Shortstack fan. Gimme Veigar (AKA Vivi from Final Fantasy Series) and Poppy (everyone's not favorite low tier character) and I'm good. If not, then Ekko (the black boy with a glowing bat) will be the way for me.

I feel.. ashamed of knowing all these characters just by watching Arcane and tried to play LoL against BOTs only. çwç

  12. DnF Duel will probably have more info on it in December which is when the DNF Universe Festival happens and they usually show all the new stuff there. Which is where DNF Duel was announced last year

  13. First of all, Echo is a pain in the ass and has been since his release (yes, he's been adjusted over time, dw) – his concept is strong and waaay cool!

Riot Games has had A LOT of data to go over as for player experience with connection stability, player satisfaction, and (attempting to) build a happy community 🙏

  14. To me just saying rollback does NOT ensure the netcode will be more than satisfactory. Melty blood has it and it's still not satifactory enough for me. The fact that it's hardcore netplay innovators like the cannon brothers that makes me have hope for the game.

  15. Don't know if you knew this, but a lot of people already knew this would have rollback, just based on the fact that the Cannon Brothers (who are leading the project) literally INVENTED rollback.

  16. The fact that this is set in the League verse and they want to develop the game over the years means that it could have a n increasingly massive roster of characters. I'm so excited!

Edit: Put Teemo in the game
