Welcome to Arcade Hollywood’s Season 7 Kickoff. We will finally get our Gottlieb Reactor Mylstar FPGA JROK Jamma video game upgrade working in a dedicated Reactor Cabinet. This in no MiSTerCade, it’s not an Arcade 1Up either. We also do a direct capture of this game’s settings and gameplay.

  1. Nice! My buddy restored his original Reactor by masking off the sticker on the sides and painting the rest of it orange after Bondo-ing the edges. It's pretty easy to mask off due to the straight lines.

  2. That said… I also have a Reactor. It's a reproduction that was CNC cut. I'm missing the bezel and glass so ANY pictures or measurements would be VERY helpful! Also, people talk about a subwoofer. Is that stock or is that a mod that people do?
    Thanks Jeff! Be well!

  3. Dude this is awesome! I've never seen so much detail on a Reactor! FPGA is the way to go! The LED mods look cool! It's really neat to see the direct capture play! You gotta love that music!

  4. Hi Jeff– great job on the restoration & an excellent video— I notice a couple of even more obscure Gottlieb games missing from the game list at 17:61, which exist in one form or another somewhere: Arena AKA WizWarz AKA Hexus (2 versions), TYLZ (unfinished), Knightmare, Video Vince and the Game Factory, Curveball and Skelly's Insector.
