  1. For anyone who doesn't want to sift through this, go inside the windmill. On the bottom floor, there are 2 levers, one that says release brake and one that says brake. The brake lever will slow down the windmill and allow you to free the gnome, the release brake lever will fling him off the windmill and kill him. Hope this helps!
