Ethan not working with Heisenberg was the dumbest move. There was literally no reason not to. I get the whole "no one's touching my daughter thing, I came here specifically to protect her" but Heisenberg didn't explain WHAT he was going to do, AND he also explained that Mother Miranda was testing him before converting him into a member of her family.
