sigh*… monster rule: when you give your monsters a stupid weakness, it defangs them. so *that's their weakness, and the locale is a european village covered in snow? that's "signs" levels of weak sauce (i.e., aliens invade earth, the majority of which is covered in water, their weakness is water, and they have no contingencies to deal with water)
