Especially before the boss battle we’re you’re chased by the deformed child . There is even a telephone that you can pick up put no one calls . I think this was obviously a reference to it .
This fight kinda reminds me of Hermes boss fight from God of War 3, where you're not so much as manually fighting them, but mostly beating them in cutscenes. In the end, Ethan keeps Angie as a forbidden fleshlight, I guess.
This boss fight was giving me RE3.5 vibes. I mean, with the hallucinations of dolls coming to life, it's a lot like what happened in that RE4 prototype.

I see this as a call-back to RE7, specifically when Ethan chases down and corners Eveline. Angie taunts Ethan about being a good daughter for him, just like Eveline. Eveline also liked playing with dolls, whether they're actual ones, Molded, or anyone unfortunate to cross her. The final time that he stabs Angie with scissors, the illusion is broken, just as it happened when injecting Eveline with the serum. Angie even shares the same voice actress as Eveline, Paula Rhodes.
Nice game but not the resident evil I remember.. Besides the remakes, capcom lets get back to the main 3rd person over the shoulder RE games with Chris sheva Leon Clair Jill and wesker

Really enjoyed the boss fights in this game. This one, and the baby monster was creepy as Hell!
