Resident Evil Village is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It will be the tenth major installment in the Resident Evil series, and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. It also includes an online multiplayer mode, Resident Evil RE:Verse. It was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and is scheduled for release on May 7, 2021, for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
Resident Evil Village is set a few years after Resident Evil 7. Ethan Winters returns as the protagonist. Ethan has been living with his wife Mia when Chris Redfield suddenly appears and kidnaps him to a mysterious European village. The game also features an antagonist known as Alcina Dimitrescu.

Vừa qua, Capcom đã chính thức xác nhận ra mắt Resident Evil 8 vào 07/05/2021, có mặt trên nhiều hệ máy.
Được tiết lộ qua Resident Evil Showcase, game được xác nhận sẽ có mặt trên PlayStation 4, Xbox One và có thể nâng cấp miễn phí lên các hệ máy đời sau.
Theo đó, tương tự như Resident Evil 7, phần game tiếp theo vẫn giữ nguyên lối chơi góc nhìn thứ nhất, nhân vật chính Ethan Winters, đi kèm hệ thống quản lý tài nguyên tương tự như Resident Evil 4 với hàng loạt cải tiến.
Resident Evil 8 sẽ có các phiên bản gồm Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition trên tất cả hệ máy, cuối cùng là Collector’s Edition phát hành cho phần lớn nền tảng, trừ PC.
