  1. Young Eveline: "You are soo dumb, you still without understand it? You already are dead, always have been dead, since three years ago."
Ethan: "What? What do you mean? That can't be true, my wife, my daugther! I still alive!"
Young Eveline: "Remember Baker's house in 2017? You was were murdered by Jack, absolute nothing that you did on this three years is true, your body was infected by the mold, and the mold take your form, skills, personality and memory. You always was one of us Ha! Ha! Ha!".

  2. Don't worry, there's a legit reason this happens:
He just kept his regenerative abilities from RE7 that he got from the baker family. The medical goop speeds up the regeneration drastically, thus allowing him to heal quickly and reattach his FUCKING HAND

  3. People thought it was plot armor but they were all wrong.
    SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!

He has a healing factor due to him being a mold. Ethan actually died in RE 7. He got murdered by Jack Baker at the beginning of the game but he got resurrected as a mold and somehow was able to retain his memories and humanity. That's why at the end his body started to breakdown. Mia was infected but was cured so that's why she didn't die. Rose Winters is something else entirely not sure what she is at the moment tho. But she survived so she's isn't a mold or infected. Can't wait to see what she becomes and what powers/abilities she has.

  4. Theory: his in a house where eldritch beings live and so potions are very magical and somehow reconnected the bone, nerves, and muscles and 1 second and returns blood flow to the hand.

  5. I mean First Aid Sprays or Herbs in past RE are magic healing items but this shit is just ridiculous, this could have easily been avoided, I think one of the worst scene in video games I’ve seen until now.

  6. I dont think he's dead based off of what Duke said to him before he left and the fact that there's a decent chance of him surviving the explosion through the remnants of eve and the giant amounts of mutamycyte hovering over him and around him.

  7. I do like the thought of Ethan having regenerative powers as it allows for a lot of cool scenes and gameplay explanations. In any Resident Evil game it's normal to receive this much punishment but now there's an in game reason for why the character is able to survive and not need a fucking wheelchair

  8. Ethan after RE8… was an adventurer like you until I got my left hand amputated, fingers bit off, right hand amputated, crucified, launched out a castle, slammed through castle floors, Impaled many times, planted like a shroom but that MF arrow to the knee was the last straw.
