The return of the mercenaries mode. An excellent add-up to the game.
Mercenaries should not be in first person.
Mercenaries should have melee.
Mercenaries should have multiple playable characters.
That is my firm belief.
Me: I wonder what's mercenaries like for RE Village.

I hope that at some point they add more characters to this, feels so weird having this be the only Mercenaries with one character. Even though it's first person I feel like other characters could play in a way that feels unique. They probably don't want to reveal any kind of updated reimagining for what classic characters will look like in these new RE games for something smaller like Mercenaries though. Or they just really want us to play RE:Verse if we want the diverse group of classic characters to choose from.

Yep, this is exactly the route I feared they would take with Mercenaries this time around. It would have at least been nice to be able to pick between Ethan and Chris. But I was really hoping that Leon and Hunk would return for Mercenaries….

It's weird, I put every other Mercenaries theme used and it fits perfectly, it makes it more epic
What would improve is if other characters are added. Including Chris and possibly Mia but it still looks great and rewarding.

I wish there was an option to TOGGLE 3rd-1st person shooter mode with one of them have classic RE fixed camera angles and a version that has the doors creek open slowly infront of a blank dark canvas like in the original.
Also they should just call it "Mercs." It sounds cooler

Why is no one talking about the soundtrack in mercenaries like holy crap listening to this while going through the stages makes it feel so badass. I wasn't expecting this game mode to have epic music like this.
