I thought I would demonstrate the Ray Tracing Performance of the RX 6900 XT in both parts of the Demo. First of all inside the Castle where things are more linear, then inside the Village where it is more Outside and demanding. I think The game looks great and from these numbers, a 6800 XT should be able to max this game out at 4K with Ray tracing on high and not dip below 60fps.
Vow! I'm early again!
Thanks for doing this Buck
I was so pissed off when the demo was finish, game running so smooth and graphics amazing! Great video bro
🔥🔥🔥
Damn the 6900XT is a hell of a beast.
Good looking game and great performance. Also I suspect that the Ray Tracing capabilities of RDNA will generally look bad for games developed on the Nvidia RTX SDK, rather than AMD's SDK. On the PS5 a small 36 CU GPU (half of a 6800 xt) is doing better Ray Tracing than any PC game in SpiderMan Remastered and Miles Morales. For anybody interested check out NX Gamer's youtube channel for analysis.
GTX 1080 and r5 3600.3.6,GHz the 1440p 144hz n fidelity FX got 75fps. to 100fps round smooth
6900xt supports ray tracing already?
Damn that's unexpected, but very welcome.
Also wanted to thank you for telling me about stockdrops last week. Nearly got a 3090fe thanks to it, but the site had problems at the checkout when it came to paying… Well that's as close as i ever got to buying an FE haha So thanks again for the tip really didn't think to much about it before.
Ran this on my 6800 xt, Ryzen 9 3700 on max settings in 4k, Ray Tracing turned on, everything turned on, and even picture quality at 1.1. FPS hung around 50-60 FPS. Picture Quality back at 1 was around 75 FPS. Happy with the performance but not really impressed with the games visuals overall. Could be that I had it in HDR on my LG Nano85(HDR not great in this TV) but thought the foliage looked dated and some of the textures seemed bland. Will try with SDR on 5/7 to see if that makes a difference. Also wonder if the game will be more optimized for the 6800 xt in the final build like AMD has been saying.
Personally I found this graphics mediocre to say at least, I was not impressed not even a bit by both the gameplay or the visuals, maybe its because I don't like where and how this title shifted over the years bit I'm trying to be as subjective as possible without counting much my preferences on this serries. Game was running ok but considering how it looked I was not particularly impressed by it, never actually saw any raytracing type visuals and I considering both re2 remake and re3 remake at least 2 classes above on how they looled compared to this one, even tho they supposed to be in the same engine everything looked dated to me, if this considered a next gen title I'm not impressed by it. Not even a bit.
god i love when Devs know what optimization is, where 4k plus RT and max settings can be a 60+ fps experience.
cant wait till next week man
Was running this earlier on my 6800XT @ 2.7Ghz on a 9900K system @ 5Ghz. Everything turned up to max on 4K, was getting around 70FPS in the Village and 90-100FPS in the Castle. Well-tuned game.
Bro i wanted to ask you, because ur only gaming youtuber who has same board and cpu i have. Ive been playing with undervolting and ive notice strange issue. If left at default gigabyte board tends to overvolt 5800x its like 1.45v+ with that cpu doesnt hit its default clocks. Something like 4.475ghz on all cores while running cinebench. However just undervolting with curve improves that core clock goes to 4.625mhz while running cinebench and at gaming it will hit 4.85ghz and ofc it will operate at lower temps. I used pbo +50 and negative offset for each core 25,20,25,25,25,20,20,20 i thought it was stable because i can game for many hours i can render with no crash, but sometimes it crashes even at light workloads like csgo or just browsing web. I mean no bsod but it just shuts down and restarts with kernel power 41. But it happens at random stuff at random time. Did you had such issue ? if so how you fixed it ? maybe i missed something. Ive seen posts that people have such issues but there is no correct way to know. I had 3600 before and didnt had such problems ofcource i had to undervolt that too because gigabyte board overvolted zen 2 also. Can you share your settings buddy ?
I hope my little half AMD PC can put out two more years and a half with 60+fps *r5 2600 non-x and a 1660 Ti
Also, this game looks good
The RE Engine is insane! So we'll optimized!
The demo was awesome. played with almost the same settings like you, but only WQHD and TAA only, got 120fps with 2080 Ti and it looks stunning.
Hey Bang4Buck, was wondering if you planned on checking out Metro Exodus after the new update. Apparently it's a big change in quality for the game.
This game environment looks different….. bro what is the difference u noticed while playing with rtx 3090 comparing rx 6900 xt ? Any visual quality difference ? Which is better ?
i watched both demos on ps5 and your demo I can tell there a difference
Wow! 6900xt is a beast and this game has perfect optimization!!
Tried it on my 6700xt. performance hit not even close to worth it.
I am waiting for rx 6800 xt with 3950x gameplay thanks
I want to see run this at 1080p to see that amount of fps.
How is the performance without Raytracing? How much fps boost you are getting. I don't see much points in raytracing and I don't want to trade 50% off Performance for such a feature.
