What if Ada managed to save Ethan before the explosion happened? This has the slim chance that this will happen but still possible.
maybe re9 will show ada spying on miranda in re8 or she might be an bsaa agent i havent played the game so this speculation might change
Interesting some of the content of the game has been cut, may be ada wong may show up in next instalment lment or in dlc, she probably knows about ethan winters.
This is all fan theories and speculation.
Here are ACTUAL FACTS:
1. There is ZERO "proof" of a "17 year" time skip. This is all made up speculation from the leaks.
2. Rose's birth weight and height are abnormal for an average baby, as seen in the Winter's household. IE: Eveline's rapid growth.
3. Ada was considered for RE8, but was dropped due to various script issues and most likely; B U D G E T
DO NOT SOURCE speculation and rumors from random posts on reddit and reset era and clam it was "rumor" from inside sources. It's incredibly misleading to claim "rumors" without properly sourcing; otherwise when people do invite Capcom community folks and podcasts and such; they go unnoticed due to all the false misinformation.
Capcom should make a Aftermath DLC that includes Ada Wong to this game.
Remember in files they say there is a lab in mountains Ada could go to that lab and see what they've been making maybe a familiar face with a purple bandana and a trench coat with a scratchy voice could sell her items in there Remember Spain and Romina aren't that far.
Ada Wong DLC Predictions (Character: Ada Wong)
1. Ada infiltrates the Village
2. Ada was sent by H.C.F to steal a sample of the Megamycete
3. Miranda confronts Ada and will be her stalker until Miranda sees a fight happening between Ethan & a mutated Dimetrescu from a view.
4. Ada sees Ethan fighting the 4 House Lords and Chris & Hound Wolf Squad fighting through packs of Lycan.
5. Ada reaches and collects a sample of the Megamycete before Chris reaches it.
6. H.C.F's leader orders Ada to buy Heisenberg's Crystallized Corpse from The Duke due to how an H.C.F agent spotted Ethan trading Heisenberg's corpse for resources.
7. Ada escapes via a vehicle and witness the Village's explosion.
Hound Wolf Squad DLC Predictions (Character: Canine)
1. Canine arrives at the Village and was sent alongside Tundra and Lobo to investigate an underground modern laboratory.
2. Canine, Tundra, and Lobo go on separate ways and fought mold lycans in the laboratory.
3. The three find out Miranda's plan and report back to Chris.
Whoever decided to cut Ada Wong out of this game how dare you. It honestly would have been amazing to have Ada in this game.
Its not impossible for this to continue in a DLC.
But atleast for me seeing Ada appear and not Leon wouldn't make much sense.
Considering whenever something big happens Ada and Leon will be there regardless of their motivations and reasons.
But who knows really, she could appear in RE9 alongside Rose which would make for a badass combo.
If Ada comes in a dlc she would deffo be stealing a sample of the Cadou parasite like she did with las plagas in re 4
I really hope Capcom will create a game telling Ada's background story.
If only the cut Plague Doctor DLC is HUNK, that would make much sense

There was no huge time skip read the fine print on the jars of rose. It says something like "will age rapidly without shots" i believe the end is probably a year or 2 after

On another note, why Jill was snubbed for so long I would never know. She was not even in consideration for the 8th entry?
She fought werewolf after a werewolf investigation in the comics and they couldn’t find a way to link that encounter to the werewolves/lycans in the game? At least Jill had some sort of connection, unlike Ada which was why her content was scrapped entirely.

Definitely could have made this work with what exists already in canon so I'm guessing future plans for Ada and Leon are what was conflicting. Because it's not hard to work her into this. She could be there completely on chance to be studying the MegaMycete or Cadou or Miranda and her affiliation with Umbrella for trials to create Eveline. I'm really hoping she is is still the one who rang the bell and saved Ethan.
What if she was the one who ringed the bell in the beginning when Ethan was up against all those werewolves in the beginning

I hope we have a dlc that explores the lycans and their different forms, and maybe like a super smart lycan as the main villain
So you got to remember; (spoilers) Rose is technically a bi-product of the mold research (due to Ethan being a mold this entire time) so it’s possible that Rose is technically 3~4 years old but her body has started to develop quickly like Evie did in RE7

Ada just wouldn’t have made sense in the main campaign, who knows maybe as a dlc but I’m glad she wasn’t on the main game.

I got some ideas for DLC's:
– Prequel DLC
about past of some character (Miranda, Donna or Spencer when he found the village)
– DLC from different POV
It would go along with RE8 but from view of different person, for example Elena surviving the fire or the village when the lycans attacked (from eyes of some villager, maybe Luiza's husband) or even Mia being held captive and experimented on.

I think it's better that they kept the story focused many on Ethan and his family. Having too many returning experienced RE Veterans would make the game less scary and intense because you would expect the RE Veterans to always be kicking B.O.W ass with ease since they all have been fighting B.O.W's from 1998 onwards… unlike Ethan which gives his character a bit more vaunerabilty and a chance to develop and grow in to something else as he deals with the horrific events in the series.
