I am kind of worried Rose is going to become to much like the girl from beyond to souls. Controlled by the government then have her powers used for them. not living a life.

They did check the body. They even said that they were surprised that she could imitate a corpse.
I never saw his face, and he was a bit flat of a character in RE7. But god dammit, I cried at the end. Ethan Winters you are an exceptional protagonist and truly an amazing father. Hope to see him again.

Maybe Rose grew fast and contains knowledge/consciousness from the mold so there's not a massive time gap. She mentions Chris and if this is 15-20yrs in the future wouldn't he be pushing 70yrs old then? 😅
I noticed the walking figure as well. The car definitely stops and the figures continues walking.
I think he might come back maybe it has like a recharge span and him breaking down was it that’s it going into a hibernation lake state cause jack did and came back what fucks that tho is he came back in a couple hours but maybe cause he was more infected and eva idk but I think he will come back
Before I beat this game I would always say how Ethan is the most resilient man I’ve ever seen and now I know why

Next resident evil, Rose is a strong female character who will also be a lesbian.
It might only be 5 years or less. Evelyn aged at an increased rate. Maybe rose does as well.
Rose could've rapidly age like Eveline did and that it wasn't that long of a time skip.
Hopefully ethan stays dead if not whats the point of the ending and his sacrifice at the end of village. Also he's a crap character Hopefully he doesn't return.

If rose is like evelyn , then she must been aged rapidly ? So on the last scene it could be some year that not too long after ethan died.
The fact that heisenburg mentioned that chris punches boulders in his final boss fight made this game a 10/10
I'm personally most interested in who the Duke was through all this… I mean, the comment made in Ethans last ride… "Duke, What are you?" "I'm not even quite sure myself". He always was a step ahead of Ethan, and the 4 Lords… Even Miranda and somehow evaded her wrath…
He also makes the quippy comment of how he lost an entire territory when Heisenberg dies…. Is he to be the next villian? Or at least have some roll to play… I dunno just my thoughts… Maybe he will carry on what Mirada started in some twisted form or fashion. It's Resident Evil after all.
I wonder if they are going to have the children of the previous characters like Leon, Chris, Jill, Claire, etc. be the new generation of main characters we play as for resident evil. 🤔
I'd rather them not have the time jump and just have Mia as the main character for 9 and finding Ethan alive. That would be cool to me.

BSAA likey made off with a sample of the mutamycete mold with a record of Ethan so chances are he'll be revived. Don't know why Ethan took the detonator at the end. Wasn't necessary.

The story was complete garbage. Re7 was so much better. Nobody wants a Rose lead RE9.

I have a feeling rose has accelerated aging like Evelyn. You’ll notice she gets into the same exact truck Chris had in his mission. I highly doubt they kept and drove that same truck 17+ years later and You’d think vehicle models would have advanced drastically if that were the case and you’d think Chris would have up’d his game a little bit for his staff with blue umbrella instead of giving him company vehicles that are 17+ years old. I’m going with accelerated aging… that dude didn’t pull the Evelyn joke for nothing.
Wow, that ending was pretty clever from Capcom, to put a person in the distance and the car stopping. I also noticed that the car didn't seem to drive any further in the distance. I thought I was maybe just imagining this but now I'm convinced the car really stopped because they were startled by the figure that suddenly appeared. That figure really wasn't there at first and only appeared when the car drove forward a bit.
OK let’s say this we didn’t see Ethan die on camera. That means you could still be a life.
Its gotta be ethans spirit or something theyre leaving the graveyard, theres nothing there, then it just appears, and rose is his daughter and its all ab family showing ethan will always be with her

Can we talk bout how fun the Chris’s segment of the game is was, Also it kinda makes sense that he’s dead, dude reattaches body parts and limbs like it’s nothing, if we look bad it makes sense but I never would of guessed it.
My thing is the cutscene in the end, you hear a voice say I got a clear shot, and mr. Johnny cage say I can handle it bla bla bla it almost seems like they bout to comment a hit on her
