Actually, before the game started, Mia was kidnapped by Mother Miranda, the real Mia with Ethan was Mother Miranda in disguise, and Chris who shot Mia was not the real Mia but Mother Miranda, Chris will save Mia in the dungeon.

Rose is the reincarnation of Eveline Re7, that's why she is hunted by Mother Miranda and Chris, Mother Miranda's evil intentions are to kidnap Rose, while Chris's good intentions are to save Ethan's family by protecting Rose and saving Mia who was kidnapped by Mother Miranda.
Its so obvious that this isn’t Mia because of the way she was acting and didn’t even react to the first bullet
The reaction of Mia being shot at first is so realistic. That's real because you won't feel pain at first. It will numb and shocked you first. Then, the pain starts
