Resident Evil Village is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a major installment in the Resident Evil series and a narrative sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017). It also includes an online multiplayer mode, Resident Evil RE:Verse. It was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and is scheduled for release on May 7, 2021, for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia.

Like Resident Evil 7 (2017), Resident Evil Village uses a first-person perspective. It is set in an explorable village. The inventory management system is similar to that of Resident Evil 4 (2005), featuring a briefcase. Players can buy weapons and items from a merchant, the Duke. The players can also hunt certain animals in the village and have them cooked into dishes by the Duke, eating said dishes allows the player to get advantages such as decreasing the damage taken while blocking.

Resident Evil Village will include a six-player online multiplayer game, Resident Evil RE:Verse.

The Mercenaries Mode will also return in Village. Like previous Resident Evil entries it will be an action-packed arcade style game mode.

  6. To be sure about new games at 60 fps you need to forget about 3070,3060ti and 6800 XT. Only 3090, 6900 XT and 3080 are good enough for future 4K gaming

  13. Pretty much confirms when RT is ON, the 6800xt can match the 3070. I can only imagine how far behind the 6700xt (priced similarly to the 3070) performs.
