First off…. you dont have to save anything… and no need for customize parts… all you have to do is max out the gun then quit game. That unlocks infinite ammo dont need to save different slot etc.
I figured this out about this on the first day after i completed the game. I decided to max out the 1911 and purchase unlimited ammo for it . Then loaded a previous save without the gun being fully upgraded and it had in finite ammo. That's how Power Pyx did all of his weapons.
But don't you need CP to buy inf ammo?

Not sure if its the same on console, but on PC you dont have to save. Just buy the upgrades and exit out. The infinite ammo will be available in the CP shop.
I donāt even have enough money to fully upgrade a gun tho.

Sooooo do you get to keep all your upgrades though? I mean if you go back to a previous save to which you didn't upgrades your weapons but just infinite ammo, what's the point?
If you do this and buy infinite ammo, do they count as "fully upgraded"
But the upgrades didnāt save tho
I only do unlimited ammo re-runs to take revenge on the douche bags that annoyed me the most during my first run.
