  2. wow xbox one X version is so stupid in resolution mode, why aim for 4K when it can clearly handle 60fps in lower resolutions. 1800p interlaced or 1440p non interlaced would have been better.

  3. Another Japanese company that loves uncapped framerate… why is that? Is it an additional pain added to the game's atmosphere? There is no point playing on One S or One X in resolution mode because the framerate is so unstable. Just lock framerate at 30 or give an option to lock it.

  4. Well the resolution mode sucks with bad frame pacing and fluctuating 45FPS. Surely they could have selected a bit less resolution and got the game closer to 60FPS like they did with the Resi 3 remake patch?

  5. Wow, difference between Xbox One X native 1080p resolution and Xbox One S checkerboarded 900p is huge! Im watching this on 55 inch 4K TV and there is much bigger difference between One S 900p and One X 1080p than between One X native 1080p and 4K checkerboard! I mean One S looks ugly, it's blury like Xbox 360 game, while One X 1080p looks quite nice and 4K mode looks just a bit better.

  6. Can't find a next gen console otherwise I would but this game but I would be happy to compromise on one x if they just lock the resolution mode to 30fps.They are literally leaving money at the table by arbitrarily handicapping this game for last gen by stupidly sticking to 60fps no matter what.

  7. Capcom should really cap the frame rate to 30fps for the One S and the One X while it's in resolution mode, but I don't think they will seeing as they didn't for the RE2/3 remakes and just left them in their 30-48fps state instead of capping them. A shame for users still on those platforms as this frame rate provides rather inconsistent input response and looks jittery, but with a 30fps cap the game would feel a lot more consistent and responsive and deliver smoother video playback as long as frames are evenly paced at 33.33ms.

  9. Xbox One X still looking good! Also unique console of past generation can run actual game on 4K resolution. I played this demo on Xbox One X in 4K mode and the framerate it seemed runs at 60fps (also 40-50fps). Really nice
