►The longbow got put in the crafter in the beginning of Season 12 but honestly I haven’t seen that many people use it at all since this change. While the flatline is still seeing some usage, the longbow really does feel like it’s gone extinct, and I honestly don’t even think it was that strong of a gun. During this video I feel like I could have had an easier time using a close quarter gun to pair with my AR..

  1. I think the damage reduction to the Flatline definitely factors into it being used less, but locking it to the replicator is a good way or trying to control the loot pool. I like the way it has worked out.

  2. Honestly I think the flatline is in a really bad place. The DPS statistic alone isn't great to measure it because it also has horrible recoil when compared to something like the R301 and it can't get a barrel stabilizer. The actual speed of the rounds when fired in bursts when peeking negates the slower higher damage/ammo efficiency and even projectile speed is a lot worse. The ammo capacity is only ever a difference of 2 as well even when getting bigger mags the gap sits at 30 on the flatline and 28 on the r301 and with the dps still being lower it doesn't gain any pushing advantage because of reloads unless the r301 use misses significantly more and very close range. Maybe I am just bad at aiming but I try to consider a lot of factors into a weapon being used and while most guns are usable if you have to currently apex has been giving me a lot of mixed feelings because of the gun balance the way it is right now. If you aren't using r301, r99, havoc, wingman, or a shotgun at cq on pre-cracked players than you basically are out matched statistically and in most practical apex gameplay.

  3. So, you think that if you won't state the name of the gun in the title I'll click the link to see what gun it is ? (Yeah I did it, but please don't make even more clickbait titles of "17-year old girl found out how to earn X thousand of dollars, investors hate her").
