  1. The game is free come on guys……ppl spend thousands of dollars on GTA the skins are OPTIONAL u don't need them but it's like donating to the game u complain about server issues and many problems they try to fix

  2. Last season I decided Im not spending more money on this game, not until things change.. I know Im just one person but I can at least spend that money on something actually worth it so it makes a difference to me.

  3. It’s the blatant disrespect for me. They just dropped the Lova bundle which is a LEGENDARY SKIN, 1000 apex coins, banner frame and weapon charm for half the price of these other ones.

  4. Bro for real stfu. It is normal for a skin to cost 18 bucks. Fortnite did it and apex does it the same. Keep in mind THE GAME OS FREE, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND THE MONEY. It is a business they have to make money. If you think it is expensive. DONT BUY IT. Stop crying

  5. I agree with everything your saying but the only thing I don’t get is if you think respawn is being greedy and there not caring about the average player why are u advertising the stock that your using apex label for

  6. I think they did research. We don't buy, but for sure somebody will. And there is psychological effect of exclusivity, which would not exist with cheap skins, so I think they use it on purpose. They exploit our psychology – known trick. They did research for sure.

  7. Servers work? We got new content? Let’s see.. what Apex community can moan about again? Ah yes skin prices. No one forces you to buy these skins. 18 € per skin is the price since like day one of this game 😂 but some people act like this is something completly new. The game is free and this is business, they need to have some income from game.

  8. It’s contract renegotiation time for FIFA.
Why do y’all think the profit numbers for that game are ALWAYS tied to this one?!

Think: good cop (Apex), bad cop (FIFA) up to now.

But now, because of limitless micro, it’s bad cop, worse cop.. take yer pick.

It’s a race to the bottom (dollar).

EA calling someone else a gambler!?
The Fed must have spit coffee out on their shoes..

  9. The crazy thing about this is that Loba's bundle which you can buy on the PS4 store (not sure about other platforms) for £15 (about $18) comes with a legendary loba skin, repeater skin, charm, badge and 1000 coins. This seems like a decent deal if you're really into the game and like Loba. Charging 40 for the basically the same thing is outrageous

  10. This is where the argument "if you dont like it dont buy it" doesnt cut it. If the process wasnt profitable we wouldnt have gotten to this point. Imagine in your head a company coming out and offering you the opportunity to spend money and marketing it as some sort of gameplay event. Its even worse that it isnt pay2win because theres literally no effect on the gameplay- which is actually suffering because all of a sudden skins take a long time to make for a billion dollar franchise and technical problems cant be solved by "throwing money" at them

  11. They can put overpriced skins whenever they want, it's their game, and there are people that will buy that stuff to support the game, you DON'T have to buy them, no one stays behind you with a gun to make you do stuff. Tell me a game where you can buy a single battlepass and benefit of off that every single new season, since you get your coins back and you can buy the next, and the next ..etc. Just saying

  12. If you do any research outside of just pumping out videos for click bait you'd know it's really EA that's the issue same with Bungie/destiny situation destiny coulda been a great game like Halo but, since Bungie is stupid and partner with Activision the game got ruined and over run by micro transactions Activision and EA are 🗑️ and only care about 💰💰 not fans respawn can't do anything as long as their under EAs thumb it will never change please do your homework

  13. Hey an fyi you dont have to buy the skins nobody is forcing you to do so, plus you can just get the skin itself (witch is 20) not the bundle. Plus it's a free game to play at least the game isn't destiny where there is an actual paywall.
So suck it up it just sounds like whining whining, me me and play the game or just dont simple.

  14. Imagine a clickbait title for a game that tells you the real price from the beginning. It’s not a scam if you know what you’re buying. Your “best skin” isn’t everyone’s. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  16. One thing I like about Apex is the game being fairly inclusive, with a lot of minorities being represented (and fairly well represented), as black people, trans/non binary people, gays and lesbians, … But on another hand, I think it also makes the monetization and business model of the game (high price skins and lootboxes) a bit hypocritical, as it is definitely not inclusive regarding social status. I mean, for a lot of people, it can feel pretty indecent to have skins sold at over 20$ (and heirlooms being sold even more, while you can't hardly get them deterministically just by playing), when they kind of struggled to get a gaming computer. So, I have to opinions sides regarding poverty inclusion :
    – "Optimistic", which is seeing Apex as a really decent game, offering expensive skins (and lootboxes) as it is a sustainable model to allow everyone to play for free.
    – "Pessimistic", which is seeing Apex as a game on which model excludes the poor from getting most of skins in a deterministic and affordable manner, and just being a bit hypocritical designing their game as inclusive while having a business model definitely not including the poor into participating and supporting the game, while exposing indecent prices for skins and eventually defending a randomness model that is subject to create addictions.
Well, Apex is still a nice game tho, and most of the recent AAA games have a similar or more predatory business model while not being inclusive at all, so …

  17. The problem is that EA is in charge of things like that.
They are making this absurd prices.
Respawn cant do anything about this.
And they wont stop until the entire playerbase is boycotting such overpriced events…
