A lot of people have made Reddit posts complaining about the new Debonair event pass points system and how slow the progression to earn tokens and prestige points is
A Riot employee has responded to these posts and says that this new system will be in place until middle of next year.
The event pass fail doesn’t seem like it will be fixed anytime soon.
The new Debonair event is finally live after a store glitch/bug. The new event pass has a completely new points progression system

First time I have bought a pass and didn't get the prestige skin, instead I just bought orbs with the tokens I had collected because it would of taken me another 50 hours of game play at least to collect the rest of the tokens
its too slow and grindy, during the last pass for the nightbringer kayn skin, I had to grind 10 matches a day, wins only for about 2/3 weeks just to get that skin, including the 250 you get weekly plus the amount I already had and THAT was grindy.
And they said the time you spend is nearly the same or less to complete the missions xDDDDDDDDD
unable to finish??? dont get me wrong, its garbage but i did it in like 4 days with no effort whatsoever
refunds on pass must be aincluded so when u refund it any skin that u got permanently or as a shard is removed i just waisted 1650 rp thinking ill do it in 10 days but it just impossible even if i played for 24hrs
Completely agree with you, yday I realized Im on milestone 5 as well so I started grinding the shit out of the game and I only managed to get barely to milestone 6, also my first ever pass where I wont complete all the milestone missions. Also I got only around 1.5k tokens where usually would have around 3k+
I am on 8th milestone, and I think I will do it the whole pass

Very strange, I've finished them all with no more than 3 matches per day, even skipping some.
this is happening and nobody will do shit, year ago respawn did the same with apex pass, they changed a system that was in place for 7 or 8 seasons, made it insanely more grindy and when people complained, they dialed it down to appease reddit clowns but even after correction new system is more grindy than the old one, i bet riot will pull the same crap and people will praise them for it

This new system is so bad. Hope they fucking fix this, buff or fucking hell revert the changes back to the old one.
what I really wanted from this battlepass was a prestige skin but I literally didnt get enough points… and I feel like its just a money waste for what I got

Yep this pass is a mess just like all Event that they want To created: these skins are horrible except the zed one and u litteraly need To do 10 games all the days to end this and buy things that worth it, i think that they don't realize that it supposed to be a game and that not all the players are streamer and do this as a job. Well, actually I was mad about this as soon as I tried new system. Well, because I love math and statistics, I went to make some numbers in Excel. Well, after 4 hours I finished it, with every chance, probability and with comparsion of new and the old system. In the end I´ve discovered there is around 10% lose of time for everybody doing the new pass and almost 40% for people, who don´t play daily and don´t tryhard it. Which is your case obviously. From my point of view I´ve finished pass with 2,2k tokens 3 days ago, that means 10 days before pass ends. Usually I had like 2 weeks before pass ended pass done. Well, I went on Riot support in my language and told them I calculated there some data and they disprove Riot´s claim that "new pass will be more fair and everybody will have bigger chance of getting Prestige skins". You lose around 10-20% of points just because those points don´t transfer between missions. You have 399/400? Oh, sorry, but you will get only 1 point for 40 minute game. You know what Riot support answered to me?

I understand what you mean, but this is not a bug. This is how the developers set it up, and we currently have no information that this should change. Anyway, at least you know how it works and you don't have to prolong the games extra if it already exceeds 400 points.

Then I told them that new pass was actually just a bait for players to buy it, I´ve got this answer:
"If more players complained about it, the developers would probably react to it. It wouldn't be the first time, but it's possible that they figured it out too, and it just gets better. We'll see how it goes in the future.

The results? Developers don´t give a sh*t about it, they´ve got their money and they are happy.
The fact that they claimed this was supposed to be a pass easier to complete for more casual players just goes to show how out of touch Riot truly is with their own game.
I wanted to get the brand prestige and the 100 prestige points plus leona and lb's borders and chromas and i'm like playing everyday since the event has started and i got only 3440 tokens and i feel like i should have the double amount of it right now but i think i'm only going to get the brand prestige and 100 prestige points without the borders and chromas
I think i played way too much, everyone around me didnt finish and had max like 1,000 tokens. But i mean i finished everything and got a prestige skin for myself.
