Johnny and Rob Man talk indepth about Resident Evil VIII, Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017), players control Ethan Winters, who is searching for his kidnapped daughter; after a fateful encounter with Chris Redfield, he finds himself in a village filled with mutant creatures. 1. Is it just me or did Re8 not look that great on the regular PS4. I saw a lot of textures and rendering issues. Just curious if anyone else notice cause I don’t hear any cons about graphics

  2. Village should be a standalone game without a RE title and it would makes sense like that. Because there is nothing RE about this game. This game is poor man's Alan Wake meets Silent Hill meets some other games but there is zero RE about it. You go through someone's dreams, mental delusions, everything makes no sense and is like a sickminded simulation in some lab and not something that something could happen inrl etc. Seems like Capcom simply on purpose likes to poke our eyes and mock us with RE being everything but not RE. Same as how the reboot of DMC happened and backlashed. I am surprised DMC5 happened and that RE is still being sold considering what a toxic waste it became. Just like Silent Hill died rightfully so with bunch of spinoffs and reboots while this mess is still desperately pushed onto people. How hard is to make what people petition for instead of going against it and the opposite way. Later come up with pointless excuses like it will make anyone to buy this 1-5$ mess that have less then a indie game. I still like it far more then what other new RE games are but it still isn't justified enough to be an actual RE game.

  3. You also should've said I got a newborn baby I don't have the same time like before to play on harder setting,😆I have a three year old that super energetic and sleeps late I don't have that time 😆

  4. I've racked my brain back and forth since I first finished RE8 of what I think about it vs RE7.
It's not as scary, definitely, but on the other hand I really like the story, the characters and I really like the gameplay loop allot more than 7. Collecting all the hidden loot, looting money from enemies, doing the optional side bosses and purchasing/sell stuff to duke. It's more action-packed, but its still Resident Evil.

My only minor complaint is that the game doesn't have as impressive gore system as say RE2 remake.

Sidenote, RE8 does thankfully have the option to skip cutscenes however. That is a big gripe for me with RE7.

  5. It was goofy and over the top but a hell of a lot of fun. That said, I double dipped right away. I thought I'd play it on console just to have something to play on the PS5 but for the life of me can't play first person on a controller. I then bought it on PC and had fun until the end.

  6. I just completed it on normal (as my first play through) think I may do my second time around on that again but maybe bump the difficulty to hard for a challenge

The only thing that really freaked me out is that big blob baby. Coming out of the shadows the way it did really was a good time. Kinda had an outlast feel to that part. I kinda figured that out when I came across those empty lockers that they were gonna be part of something freaky
