Johnny and Rob Man talk indepth about Resident Evil VIII, Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017), players control Ethan Winters, who is searching for his kidnapped daughter; after a fateful encounter with Chris Redfield, he finds himself in a village filled with mutant creatures. While Village maintains the Resident Evil series’ survival horror elements, the game adopts a more action-oriented gameplay style compared to its predecessor.

Is it just me or did Re8 not look that great on the regular PS4. I saw a lot of textures and rendering issues. Just curious if anyone else notice cause I don’t hear any cons about graphics
What if this leads into the parasite eve games. It's like times a circle or something lol
Yes its another Robman episode.
Im grabbing popcorn, soda and sitting down in my comfy chair, gonna enjoy the heck out of this one.
Johnny, you and Rob need to make a video on “one-sitting” games!! That would be awesome! My first one sitting game was god of war 3 on ps3!
Love these chats. Great vid guys 👍
Rob does a great Heisenberg voice
Village could have been better. But it’s a good game.
Heisenberg factory was my favorite part. Kind of scary, kind of hard, nice backtracking.
I always like the videos with Rob. He plays games like I do. I miss your series reviews
Great video 👍
I love you two together – MORE!!!! Keep it up bro 😂
I've never played any of the Resident Evil games, I just like watching these two geek out about games they love.
Village should be a standalone game without a RE title and it would makes sense like that. Because there is nothing RE about this game. This game is poor man's Alan Wake meets Silent Hill meets some other games but there is zero RE about it. You go through someone's dreams, mental delusions, everything makes no sense and is like a sickminded simulation in some lab and not something that something could happen inrl etc. Seems like Capcom simply on purpose likes to poke our eyes and mock us with RE being everything but not RE. Same as how the reboot of DMC happened and backlashed. I am surprised DMC5 happened and that RE is still being sold considering what a toxic waste it became. Just like Silent Hill died rightfully so with bunch of spinoffs and reboots while this mess is still desperately pushed onto people. How hard is to make what people petition for instead of going against it and the opposite way. Later come up with pointless excuses like it will make anyone to buy this 1-5$ mess that have less then a indie game. I still like it far more then what other new RE games are but it still isn't justified enough to be an actual RE game.
I can’t stop playing this game. Just can’t stop. I also REALLY dig mercenaries mode in this game.
You also should've said I got a newborn baby I don't have the same time like before to play on harder setting,😆I have a three year old that super energetic and sleeps late I don't have that time 😆
100% agree. This is my new favorite RE, this game IS RE.
I've racked my brain back and forth since I first finished RE8 of what I think about it vs RE7.
It's not as scary, definitely, but on the other hand I really like the story, the characters and I really like the gameplay loop allot more than 7. Collecting all the hidden loot, looting money from enemies, doing the optional side bosses and purchasing/sell stuff to duke. It's more action-packed, but its still Resident Evil.
My only minor complaint is that the game doesn't have as impressive gore system as say RE2 remake.
Sidenote, RE8 does thankfully have the option to skip cutscenes however. That is a big gripe for me with RE7.
It was goofy and over the top but a hell of a lot of fun. That said, I double dipped right away. I thought I'd play it on console just to have something to play on the PS5 but for the life of me can't play first person on a controller. I then bought it on PC and had fun until the end.
I loved the game and im left wondering why Ethans fingers didnt grow back after they got bitten off.. Great video guys
Thought Village was a fun action game. Moment I call it Resident Evil, or analyze the game's writing, I get a bad taste in my mouth.
I spent the whole game thinking it was great and couldn't wrap my head around the negative criticism from the media.. glad you guys agree. This game was phenomenal.
Normal mode was a cake walk unfortunately
Isn't Amnesia first person horror? That game had already shown that it could be great.
I play all the RE games on standard mode and this game felt like it was alot easier than the standard mode on RE7. Anyone else agree?
Rob man looks like an antifa member. Hahahaha. Love the show
Glad to see Rob doing okay!!! <3 Love these videos
You can unlock infinite ammo for main story, if you do the mercenaries sections.
I just completed it on normal (as my first play through) think I may do my second time around on that again but maybe bump the difficulty to hard for a challenge
The only thing that really freaked me out is that big blob baby. Coming out of the shadows the way it did really was a good time. Kinda had an outlast feel to that part. I kinda figured that out when I came across those empty lockers that they were gonna be part of something freaky
