  2. Hello,

Been following you for a while now, watched every MDI run this saturday.

Overall I keep learning from you and that's so awesome. However I wanted to share my opinion on the video and your opinion.

    1. Video music is a tad to high, it should feel more as background music
    2. During the MDI in particular your rupture up time was all over the place. You had prideful, big mobs and even some bosses where the up time on rupture was low or not there. It would be more understandable to say you didn't want to use rupture or you forgot to use it instead of recommending all players under 5k raider io not to play with it. As far as I can tell having up time on 1 target at all times EXCEPT when it's about to die in less that 15 seconds or if there are more than 6 targets just drop it. Sorry man but i really have to disagree with you on this one.
    3. Rupturing targets you know you are gonna lose up time on (when facing 2-3 that start spreading for example) it also gains huge value.
    4. Not only was your rupture extremely inconsistent (it felt like watching someone that wanted to play outlaw but with daggers), you also never bothered speccing once into secret technique.

From now on I'll be watching you and learning every day but when it comes to leggos, covenants, stats and talents i think i'll look elsewhere. There is no problem sharing what you like but sharing the wrong info that i can't agree with.

EDIT: I wanted to make it clear that I know you are one of the best rogues in the world. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the way you share that information that's all.

  3. Unreal stuff James as always!!! going to really focus on this myself now. What would be amazing would be to post on your discord the list of boss's / mobs you do use rupture on. keep up the quality content

  4. The shadow dmg from eviscerate, black powder and shadowblades is higher than 50% because its shadow dmg. It's not affected by armor, so 50% of a physical eviscerate is more like 65-66% converted to shadow. Also a 30% armor reduction is not a 30% dmg increase on physical abilities, not sure if this was covered. Also did you account for mastery, haste and other variables or just your own buffs + prideful?

Preliminary sims with simply removing rupture on ST from the APL is a 5% dps loss. Spreadsheet math only works if you actually fully understand all the underlying mechanics of the game. Like shadow damage ignoring armor, mastery and haste existing (dynamically increased by bloodlust etc) and the fact that its just perhaps 2 GCDs spent on rupture per boss and not something you'd spam. So the comparison in damage doesn't really work because one rupture doesn't stop you from using eviscerates.

Also, beating other rogues doesn't say much when you have the best gear on beta.

I do hope your followers have a bit critical thinking applied when watching this video, because it's filled with inconsistencies and anecdotal evidence.
