Escape From Tarkov 12.9 Update brought changes and an expansion to Woods. There are new extractions (such as Bridge Extraction), and some of the old ones have shifted.

For visual learners, I show you a clip of my myself arriving at the extraction point after using numerous landmarks to identify your position in relation to the extraction point.

1. Locate the center of the map (Lumber Mill) and then look for massive concrete chimneys in the distance.
2. Start making your way toward the chimneys.
3. Be wary of rats and scavs that might try to kill you along the way.
4. Reach the tank and set of vehicles and the road.
5. Find the green flare off to your right.
6. Wait in extract.
7. If the green flare is not “on,” you’ll have to go find a new extract.
