Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a brand new turn based action/adventure game where you take control of some of Runeterra’s most iconic heroes. This is a game long in the making, and after just a few hours I wanted to share my thoughts in a Worth Your Time, review in progress video. League of Legends Lore meets Darkest Dungeon action and it’s a combination I think a lot of people are going to enjoy.

I personaly dont play LOL games but this game look not bad.
look i don't want to be a douche, but this game is more expensive than darkest dungeon, while having jack shit on a masterpiece like DD. I love lol and especially lol's lore and characters but dont know if ill get this until they put it on sale or make it cheaper or make it super good
Rather than compare to darkest dungeon, maybe compare it to battle Chasers: nightwar?
Their battle chasers game was fantastic and provided a good formula, this is gonna be great also. Starting my playthrough today.
The game looks just like BattleChasers Nightwar, even to some assets being the same 😄
I guess it is kinda similar to mario rpg series but not entirely as I see the type of combat is different.
These Devs didn't even try to make this different from Battlechasers is just a reskinned version with League plastered over it.

If this doesn’t scream Battle Chasers right out the gate—from the turn-based system and Overcharge, to the battle screen, even the animation style—idk what to tell you bro

As a huge Final Fantasy fanboy and former LoL junkie, I already don't regret speedbuying this thing before watching any review or trailers 😀 I just heard Riot turn based RPG and spammed my credit card info hahaha
Don't care about League, but I loved BattleChasers. So, I've been waiting on this for a long time. Glad to see they did add/change some mechanics, because I originally thought it was a straight reskin. Can't wait to play!

Can't stand MOBA's so I've never played LoL, but I absolutely loved Battle Chasers: Nightwar and I am all for a "new" fantasy world to play in. So if this is just the beginning of more RPG experiences in the LoL "universe," count me in.

LoL meets Darkest Dungeon? It's literally just Battle Chasers Night War with LoL painted over it. A thin coat of paint. Honestly looks disappointing. Would've preferred something original not a literal asset flip of an already existing game. Riot's gotta step it up, cause this isn't all that enticing to experience a LoL story.
