  1. I think what happened was your first trade route with orange discovered that natural wonder. I noticed that after you signed off on it last episode a bunch of tiles got revealed, so it seems trading with distant players can be a useful scouting tool!

The text description of the Carrack in Naval Artillery said it had "military and transport roles" so I assume that's the next unit mover.

  2. Hmm Im not sure if I like being able to change culture so drastically from era to era, instead there should be a logical path that you pick at the beginning of the game , so going from english to Spanish, shouldn't happen. Perhaps the solution is that instead of picking the culture, you simply ascend to a new culture based on your playstyle and history. you have forged thus far. So that means if you really want to adopt the Roman culture, for example, you will have to fulfill some prerequisites, like maybe control X amount of Land, have X amount of units or something.

And for those who do not like this idea,, i think that you might as well have both systems (the one currently in game and my idea) and let players customize there game experience, as I think games like Civ really thrived on this sort of customizability.

  3. Found out about the Lucy openDev from your channel, so thanks for that! Played a little, and found that some districts you can put anywhere, while others require adjacent districts or exploitations. Didn't see anything that that explains why, or marks them as different from each other though

  4. The game looks interesting, I've only played Civ V from this genre but I'm definitelly planning on buying this one. Looks more like Civ VI to be honest but should be fun when they release it.

  5. I think you casually went from 1k to 1.8k science just by switching to Korea, seems balanced 😀

Also, agree that it seems they somewhat acknowledge that making money is easy, because fame stars become super expensive, but at the same time did not adjust any buyout costs so you can literally buyout everything

Really enjoying this series, thanks SB!

  6. I dont wanna be negative and criticize your work cause if did not like it i would not watch it, that being said.. You selecting a move / decision then procrastinating for 5 minutes on video feels less of a good content and more of just filler / wasted time… I would love if you would edit out those… having a 1 hour video in which you have about 20 mins of you just bouncing between decisions cause you can't make up your mind make me wanna just fastforward… My point is.. content that makes you fastforward is not good content… So my suggestion would be either edit the times you are just procrastinating about making a unit for 5 minutes or atleast for youtube get in a habit of deciding on the spot…
