Scooby-Doo's in Velma, Apparently (But Not Really)

Apparently, Scooby-Doo is in Velma as a new character named “Scoobi” that Norville AKA Shaggy dates. And if you’re thinking that’s too crazy to be true, you’re right. It’s a hoax people are falling for on the internet.

  1. Honestly, I think you guys are upset because the series might not really be geared toward you or your demographic. A lot of my queer AFAB(assigned female at birth) friends and my partner really enjoy the show. So far all of the "I hate Velma" videos are coming from a lot of guys. I think you guys are upset that they wrote a funny queer Indian Velma because you were hoping this adult cartoon Velma would be sexy for you and it's not. Maybe let some other people enjoy it and not be so critical of queer people of color, especially women, being represented here. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series and what it has to offer. So many cartoon shows and movies are being canceled from HBO and other platforms, I don't see why more of you don't give it a chance. 💛

  2. I am least 4 episodes in the show. I already keep scooby and gangs adventures as I iterations. I don't consider velma the series as in that category as I consider it both its own show and iteration. the photo posted I didn't gigi as scooby as oc who popped in the background shots of the gang and figured she was a friend. now that character official fleshed out its one those moments take notice as a soldier literally named gigis dad with a tag stands out. however I would disgusted if they ended hurting her the same way mordecai and Margaret hurt CJ in regular show.

  3. im gonna laugh if this turns out to be a masters of the universe situation, you know the new one by kevin smith. they denied accusations to there grave and the show came out and proved they lied to get you to watch

  4. Not gonna Lie, i kind of liked the idea.

Specially if they really looked at Scooby's personality beyong the "Is a Dog" and "Likes Food" aspects, and extrapolated a while human being from it…. Foodie, yeah, but Scooby ALSO had a good, arguably heroic Heart, likes Horror Movies(if not Horror Movie-like situations), and so on.

Then again i doupt this show could ever pull that off.

THEN AGAIN x2 combo, i also liked Nickolas Cage's Ghostrider movies, and that Catwoman movie, so my tastes is clearly trash.

  5. I will admit Gigi post-mean girl design is nice, a better love interest for Norville than Velma, and better character development. Also it is nothing new from people to drum-up controversies or troll people on popular show like SPY X FAMILY or the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui’s polygamy, but VELMA is only popular by infamous though.

  6. So basically, "What are you doing?" "I'm posting false information on the Web." "Why?" "It's fun." it's Twitter in a nutshell…if Twitter was a part of the circus, they'd be the entire thing. If Twitter vanished, nothing of value would be lost. That aside, the spreading of this lie definitely doesn't help the show's already bad reputation, it just adds more fuel to the fire. Like you said, the damage is done. But people should really stop hate watching because HBO Max only recognizes people watching as profit. If people don't like it, they shouldn't keep watching it

  7. While showrunner Charlie Grandy certainly did admit that the writing staff thought Scooby-Doo was a generally childish element of the franchise that would have been hard to fit into the show's adult tone, he also revealed that they wouldn't have been able use the character even if they wanted to, as Warner Bros. Animation told them that the Great Dane was off-limits.

  8. It really does say a lot about society when so many fall for information like that. It's like all the people who believe the lies the media say about our country. By refusing to let our citizens use Twitter, we're doing them a favor. And by banning HBO Max, we're also doing them a favor. Whether it's a show on a streaming service or political drama, the Internet is a wild place that not even the tamest can handle. Saving it and making it a better place is a lost cause.

  9. For a video trying to stop misinformation, maybe we don’t have a thumbnail that’s perpetuating it… click bait is one thing but this is just hypocritical. And if it’s a joke… gotta say Velma made me laugh more

  11. Watch the last episode of Velma (the show) reveal that Scooby-Doo (the franchise) is actually the family-friendly adaptation of the events in ‘Velma’, with Velma the person (or somebody else, willingly or unwillingly) selling the rights to her story to a production company for a truck load of money, only to have everyone white-washed, events sanitized, and a dog mascot added to appeal to the kids. It’s sounds exactly like the post-modern meta-cynical bullshit that the writers would pull.

  12. I disagree with what you said about misinformation. How do you work on this channel if you do not understand the existence of fan theory? And were you around for the early 2000's internet? Because theories almost always were touted as fact. Here is your clown nose. squeek

  13. Damn it sucks Gigi has to be stuck in such a fucking awful show because her design and the way she's drawn looks to be beautiful. (I say looks to be because I'm not watching the show but from the little snippets I've seen, she's the one good character to come out of this mess of a show so far. She deserves better.)

  14. Two things:
    1) "Evil uhh finds a way." Is most likely a nod to the famous 'life uhhh finds a way,' in Jurassic Park.
    2) I couldn't tell due to volume issues but it sounded like the bg track was one from VVVVVV or at least the same composer. He has an 8-bit sounding bend he uses in most of his tracks and I definitely caught that. If not him, who's the bg composer/source? Please and thank you.

  15. Now hear me out 😂 season 3 norville and gigi adopt a pup…named scrappy. He teaches norville to stand up for himself, and just overall more likeable character than anybody else on the show. People finally stop 💩 on scrappy and realizes hes the goat the end 😌🤣. I was being dumb for most of that, but I honestly kinda want to see them introduce scrappy as a social experiment.
