Sea of Thieves: Lost Shipments and Season 1 [FULL GUIDE]

The Lost Shipments voyage is the new merchant Voyage with Season 1. It will require you to track down the path of a sunken merchant vessel. Once you are done with that, the journey will end as soon as you get your hands on the pirate log, which later you can sell to the merchant alliance. Still, there’s a lot you can benefit from between this first and last step, which is getting your hands on the key for the Captain’s quarters. This will contain a large number of merchant items that you do not want to miss.

  1. So I have only been playing for a couple of months, I heard the update was going to bring a lot of players back to the game. I suck at PvP, but haven't had to deal with it much. Until today day 1 of the update. I spent over 2 hours doing a gold hoarders vault mission and less than 2 minutes after loading our ship we got mauled by a brig and lost everything in less than a minute. I logged shortly after they spawned us on the other side of the map. I heard from other players that the rest of the night was just outposts and known voyage spots being camped. Is this what the "good old days" of SoT was?

  2. I hope they keep this quest type in the game permanently. It's got good activities, map interpreting, navigation, exploration etc and its not crazy profitable either. Seems well balanced and its 100x more fun than bullshit snake catching and pig hunting.

  3. The tip about not doing these voyages in The Wilds is a good tip, otherwise this is a fairly poor guide. You explain the very basics of the voyages, but in no way is this a "full guide". You don't even go through the variety of clue types (island maps, clues that lead to islands, clues that lead you off path, etc). You also don't mention that previously-found clues appear on your voyage map. Normally I really enjoy your content, but this video feels like you're just rushing to get the video out instead of creating a full guide.

I'm sure these basic-level tips will help those who are doing these voyages for the first time… but this is just clickbait.
