When Ash appeared in Titanfall she had like some sort of Phase like wraith's phase, maybe she was during the creation of the dispositive and she knew how to create another one for herself or stole one, and then when she discovered what could do (Or maybe she tested it) that thing she went crazy and had some sort of mental illness that made her have two different personalities.
I hope it's not gonna be a third party legend
