  1. I was a late pledge on waste knights 2nd edition, recieved my copy before Christmas. I'm US based so that might be part of it, but i feel those who haven't received their game didn't fill out the pledge manager.

I'd back shadow planet but at $80 it's a bit too expensive for what it is. Also being 3+ players, i don't see me playing it enough for $80. I hope it hits retail and i can pick it up for $40-50.!

  2. Thanks for covering Soul Raiders. It really feels like it’s mostly been under the radar. I am personally super looking forward to it! No idea if it’s going to be what I think it is but it looks soo soo cool!

  3. Thank You for kind words towards Middara – Succubus Publishing Team. They had really hard time during delivery, but they are trying really hard and are transparent about what is going on and this is something I value πŸ™‚ At least they know how to prepare for next waves πŸ˜›
And also happy to finally got opportunity to get Wild Assent (waiting for Stormsunder too πŸ™‚ )
Thank You for great video too!!

  4. I plan on backing Kiwi Chow Down as I backed War on Chicken Island and Dodos Riding Dinos. I have Chicken Island and the minis are cool and it looks great, Dodos should be arriving in a couple months.

The other KS I'm interested in that is coming soon is the 'Chili Con Carnage' expansion for Riot Quest, the Disney Princess with guns would pique my interest, even if I didn't already have tons of stuff for the game.

  5. I had the same initial impression about Marvel United after playing the core box, and I was pretty sure I would never play it with anybody outside of my family because it was too easy and light. The kickstarter and expansions have proven me wrong. There have been several villains that some of my adult friends and I cannot defeat even after multiple attempts.

I challenge you to try some of the extra kickstarter stuff from Marvel United, especially the Infinity Gauntlet expansion. I'm convinced it will change your mind about the game. It certainly did to me.

  6. So exited for Hellboy. It's right up there with Cthulhu DMD. Some things that make it great is you can lend action points to another character to upgrade their dice. Dice are implemented very well in this game. If everyone gets knocked out, you get "warped" to the boss battle instead of outright losing. The scenarios are well done, the minis are pretty cool, and the difficulty is just right.

  7. I'd never touch Mantic games again, they do make pretty cool scenery but I've got 3/4 of there KS games and they've always been under whelming if I'm polite, rules are a mess don't work, miniatures less than stellar and no retail packaging, generally they just throw all your stretch goals in a big box (literally thrown) and post them to you. I wouldn't even consider playing one of the games I've got from them, I would ebay them but really I doubt anyone would buy them and they aren't worth the postage, might drop them to a charity store if I'm feeling mean to some dupe who could buy them. They cut corners on every part of production, including development and it shows… This is me being nice really, if I was to provide my real thoughts on the money I've burned on them it wouldn't be politie reading.

Middara hubs are NA and EU so EU guys won't pay VAT however UK will, its worth noting. They might have some stunning new resin Espers coming on the `19th you might want to check out, in fact I know you will do they are stunning!

  8. I just played Marvel United for the first time today. It's fun, and I ended up playing it twice, I wouldn't call it filler for me, but it is fairly light. It's the type of game that you want to play 2 or 3 times in a row, and it's pretty easy to get up and going, which I love. The expansions add in a ton of variability and replayability. Unfortunately they made all of the expansions KS exclusive, which I find insane, they would sell so many more in retail. Now if I want to get expansions, I'll have to back the X-Men version and pay more, since they jacked up the price for everything from the first KS.

  9. Agree about Marvel United, hard pass…more CMON overpriced plastic with a meh game at best. They sure now how to milk their fans dry, but as long as those folks don't care…I guess they have no reason to stop pumping out the same junk.
