Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.
Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a “ripperdoc” to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target’s direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.
Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.

I just Noticed A Big Bummer And I Hope It Isnt True. In A Video Showing All Vendor Legendary Weaponry I Noticed None Of The Weapons In Store Came With The Bonus Stat On Top Of The Weapon. I Knw In Game As Long As Its Not Sitting On A Counter Or Out In The Open ( World Drop ) You Can Leave The Area And Come Back To Re Roll The Bonus Stat. Its All Random To The Extent Of A Certain Number Of Possible Combinations For That Weapon Type. This Means In Game Pickups Luck Of The Draw Have A Chance Of Having A Unique Effect!

Johnny might be able to take v's body but the soul isn't there regardless. You can copy the mind but can't copy the soul. The relic is like a virus, consuming and taking over the body. Soul killer, like alt mentions, does as what the name implies. She implies that the body is soulless with her saying she can transfer the engram back into v's body as a virgin template. That's just my opinion tho
I don't know if you can really call it amazing, as most games of this level do this kind of thing (so in a way, in my mind it's to be expected). With that said, there is no evidence of souls even existing. So to make the argument for whether or not the construct of a person's psyche has a soul to me is as irrelevant as the argument of whether or not a person has as soul to begin with.
Personally, I think you can consider them just as real as any other person. I also think whether or not they are just a copy is also irrelevant as it doesn't change that they exist regardless. It would be like some scientist cloning a person, and then trying to invalidate them as a human just because they are a copy.
Finally decided to do the final mission after 70+ hours… the f*cking game crashed during the credits. Didn't even get to hear Judy's email(voice-mail🤦♂️). A fitting end i guess. On to Fenix Rising.

I don't know if this was mentioned somewhere, well know we can find Kojima during the Heist mission. But there is also the baby from Deathstranding, it can be found during the mission with detective Ward where you are in a laboratory searching for Peter Pan's dreams.

Endless cyberpunk debate, he he. I think Johny is a real boy, since he is self aware, capable of change and having a will of his own. Also, if indicator of having a soul is presence of suffering, than he have one giant peice of it, because he is miserable as hell.

People really miss the detail that soulkiller copies your consciousness not transfers. There’s a protocol that kills you after once the copy is complete.
Edit: that’s why Alt called it soulkiller as explained the first time you meet her with some dialog options.
CDPR is lucky that the game has so many bugs because they hide THE REAL PROBLEMS of the game.
I feel, the real issue is once digitized, memories converted to almost raw data, thought patterns and decision making become algorithms.
Whoever holds this data, can likely alter it.
Let's get philosophical for a minute here. I'll start with video games as my first example: Nier: Automata and Soma are good starters.
In Nier, you are an android, completely artificial from your body to your coded algorithmic mind, and yet they feel and react as a human would.
(spoilers for Soma)
In Soma, you believe you are completely human and not just a construct of a person from a distant past, and yet you struggle to come to terms that you've already died and what you are isn't human, but what remained of your mind is.
René Descartes (a philosopher) came up with his way to validate his existence which is "I think, therefore I am.". On this line of thinking any creature is living a true existence and has a soul. In a thought experiment of if your entire body was mechanically replaced, are you still human? Well yes you are. But what if instead an AI construct came to the same complexity of that of a human and understood it's existence, then I too would consider that a living being.
I'm not talking about SkyNet intelligence or wanting to know more for the sake of more information, but the idea of a construct can can exist in a human world but the rules of nature being applied to it. The best way to do this is to put an AI into a human body and see if it can be a person, just like in Cyberpunk 2077.
In Nier the characters reached a tipping point of information and simulated emotion that by all means they were indistinguishable from a real reaction of a human. Yes they are artificial beings entirely but they evolved in their mental coding to live within the rules of nature applied to them, knowing love, revenge, happiness, regret, etc.
To have a "human" construct I believe it needs an organic body or a simulated one. But if the AI was free which had no body and could go into the net, then I wouldn't consider that human but more so an AI that could evolve into a more "god like" being which is a scary thought.
In summery, yes an AI construct can be considered human but I believe that it needs a body (preferably organic) and the laws of nature to be applied to it, to fully understand it's capabilities, and limitations.
