SEGA Wanna stay at #1 so badly they're remaining silent on the next Sonic game lol
I think this would be the point that they should sell sonic I know that they won’t do it but I feel like it’s the more better decision because if they basically forget sonic exists then they can just use the other franchises which clearly work better. Again I know they won’t do that because if they do a whole bunch of fans will just abandon Sega due to the fact that they are really afloat because of sonic but my point still stands that almost the majority of Sega fans are sonic fans ( i think) if this is the case then I really will stop being a fan and I’ll just have to look for something else. The Friday night funkin fan base is looking pretty good right now.

If I could offer my thoughts, I don't think its just nostalgia, but rather the rabid response inbound when they DO release it. Yes, sure. COVID-19 put plans on hold, but If you ask me, its because of stagnation. Stagnation in the most literal sense. There is nothing to the boost mechanics and the nostalgia anymore. They will have to really put their heads together in order to really make Sonic as good as possible. Remaking the Adventure Games would be a start, but as we learned, bad timing and well…."that" canned the projects back then.
That said, we are talking about doing so much….in a single package…when they could easily fix that with multiple different branches of Sonic. It may be something for everyone, but that doesn't mean everyone is satisfied with that one thing

Well game drought aside, I'm still in awe that a full length feature sonic film actually became a real thing and the fact that a sequel is in the works is so cool to me. Any coverage on that or speculations are never a bad thing to watch and listen to ! I feel like though this year was supposed to be sonics year, next year will make up for things tenfold! Definitely looking forward! 🙂
