  1. You need a buffer system of every item and thing you produce and just to make sure you have wind and Solar panels then make a system that makes them and also slide the Storage slider down to 5 just so you have some stacks of Solar and wind when going to the other planets in your solar system and outer systems…

  2. What you were doing there by the end – this is not factorio, you can raise/lower belts vertically – no need to feed belts by splitters (it's slow and takes power).
You should also make it so that miners don't output into chests as an intermediary – especially the coal generator ones. If you need a buffer chest for personal use feed it to the side.
The research lab – you produce the blue cubes in them, but they can also consume them to make science happen – so you need multiple of those for automation.

  3. Each of the storages have 9 ways to go in or out. You can set many lines in to load. Also can put storage as a buffer in front of each line to make it better. Also put the end of the line at one of the spots for the storage so you don’t have extra stuff just sitting there not being used or stored.

  4. The reason that I disliked this video is simply that while I enjoy the content, in really getting tried of the consistently dark videos. It's really difficult to see the items that are being talked about. I understand the game has a day/night cycle that can not be manipulated, but instead of waiting until night to set up a system, please wait until morning. The first video eat much better in this regard.

  5. I've played for about 16 hours, mastered red science. My advice, belts go right next to buildings, make sorters as short as possible, don't skimp on upgrades, and set up a stoneworks (silicon, glass, stone, ect.) for manual crafting, it saves a lot of time.

Oh, and avoid spaghetti factory disorder… It'll slow you down so much. Only overlap belts if you have to.
