Couldn't help but laugh at the analysis of Arms and its new utility, then Fury gets handwaved away like you won't press those buttons because zug. But is zug the optimal utilization of the spec, or do you still need to use all of your tools?
Really a throwaway analysis. I usually enjoy these vids more, but that was disappointing.
Love the content man, but I disagree with ranking based on difficulty. When you love a class it becomes the easiest to play, straight up. I took to sub rogue like a fish to water but I cannot for the life of me play a fdk or dh correctly.
I think it is important to note the performance and gameplay challenges (or lack thereof) when making lists like this. Most people are probably trying to ride the line between good performance and ease of use then as you mentioned some people like to go for that more difficult class for the long term mastery of gameplay.
Unholy beign easier than Arms warrior??? Arms warrior is faceroll spec unless you 1v1 pvp wich is really Hard with an arms warrior but for pve is so easy A tier for me i have mained arms warrior for a while, you make good videos man but arms beign harder than unholy i just can't take that.
I don't think the UHDK gets you very far without some pet management. Pet move > kick for example. Death strike nerf means you will need to pool runic power, lichborne and death coil yourself — what noob is gonna do that? If you're new, you're likely to not even re-summon your pet if it dies. Abomination placement is a slight layer of skill in itself. Face rolling definitely wont get you very far.
UHDK is a snap pick C tier and arguably D tier. (Btw i play a restosham so i dont have a UHDK bias. ive dabbled with UHDK and know what it requires to be successful with it)
You place arms as more difficult because of spell reflect / intervene, then don't even mention that fury has those too. I agree fury's rotation is one of the easiest, but there's no way it's easier to play than a demon hunter
I met a really geared ww monk while leveling, his friends was power leveling him thru dungeons but he had literally NO clue how to play the spec.He did less dps than the tank and the disc priest. He only used Fists of fury twice and only because i was screaming at him to do so. So yeah WW monk is definitely not new player friendly at all
I'm sorry, but how is fury any different than arms? I'm a warrior main and both specs play the same way. When I switch between them I see no difference whatsoever. The abilities are mostly the same, and the ones that aren't follow the same concept anyways. The only difference is fury self heals, while arms reduces healing on your target. The gameplay itself is identical.
Frost is the easiest spec to play in the game, followed by fury, arms, and havoc.
Generally, any class where you need to kite to survive is going to be D tier in skill as your survival is based on skill not pressing a button to reduce damage or have a passive DR.
Doesn't fury have the same utility abilities as arms? The damage dealing part is a lot simpler but I'd think that if the utility was the reason arms got bumped down, fury would be below S tier.
It's a disgrace what blizzard did to the Warrior and DK classes. Arms is still okay, but man… bring back stances. It made both classes so much more enjoyable and exciting.
Hey man I really liked this tier list( I'm trying to get my son into playing he's only 8 and your list lines up well with what he has tried and is doing well with.) Do you have any plans of doing one for ranged dps?
So, I appreciate this metric, but I look at "difficult to pilot" as a comparative question. I find it hard to believe that in that sense you could have the highest number of classes be in the hardest tier. Any thoughts on this or am I just an idiot? 😛
Good video as usual supa. One thing I disagree with, is Unholys placement. I’ve only been 2k on unholy but all I’ve ever seen unholy DK do, on my main, from 1600-2600 is just W key someone spam every offensive CD, and basically just press AMS as an auto response to first poly on their healer, and AMZ just as an auto response for a magic CD from enemy. I think it’s pretty A tier. But that’s just my experience from it
I don't know about PvP specifically but if it's anything like PvE as a Ret paladin there is a notable difference between decent damage and people who actually play the class well. Because all of its builders have cooldowns and you don't want to clip any of them ther is actually alot of timing involved in doing optimal Ret damage and if you just Facebook the keyboard your doing mediocre damage compared to what you could be. Idk if this changes the ranking but is worth bearing in mind

this makes me want to play none of the melee in shadowlands its a ranged expansion any and the beta logs shot that.
all the ranged is at the top and all the melee is at the bottom.
