  1. 305*2=610 last time I checked. Then you get 200 from intro quests in week one, making it 810 total week one, not because of a follower mission not in game yet…
This video is just spouting out random, incorrect numbers, which miraculously add up to the correct total.
It's like Kevin doing accounting, I wouldn't rely on it.

  2. I had an absolute blast leveling, but then I hit 60 and it was like somebody dumped cold water down the back of my shirt. I had been having so much fun wandering around, exploring, absorbing the story, not worrying about game systems beyond my spell rotation and Ohshit buttons. Then you ding max level and it's like, okay, enough fun, time to do a bunch of homework to figure out what I'm supposed to do now. There's this system, and that one, and you need to collect this currency for that faction, and deal with this time gate, etc., etc. You have to know it all and don't you dare fall behind! It's like hitting adulthood IRL and suddenly needing to deal with taxes and insurance, and it's not a fun feeling. Give me a couple straightforward currencies to collect, like the badges back in TBC, and a bunch of dungeons and quests to do, and I'm happy. I don't want to spend hours researching how to play the damn game. I hear Shadowlands is supposed to better than BFA in that regard, but I'm not convinced yet.

  3. The only confusing part really, for me, is not having a way to track how many Redeemed Souls you have. You can track all these new currencies through your characters panel, why not souls. It confused me because it made me think that maybe it's a currency we're not in control of. But we are.

There was a currency we gathered in Legion as part of the Illidan story lines. But I can't remember what they were called. I'm sure even they were added to the character panel. And I'm pretty sure you were even told what the weekly cap was.

I agree there should be less hand holding in WoW. But some poor soul might have ran around the Maw for an hour gathering well, souls. Only to find these haven't been added to their currency

  4. I am level 58 and about done with Ardenwald. I watched this video, and 15 minutes later, all I can say is, huh? I hope you are right and it makes more sense when you get into doing it. Excellent video, even if I didn't understand most of it. 🙂

  5. I'm less concerned about legendaries and more concerned about this shitty XP issue still ongoing with leveling.

I TWICE have hit barriers in my leveling (once in Bastion, and now in Ardenweald) where a main line quest is NOT available to me because I'm not high enough level. The one in Bastion wasn't too bad, because I was only a couple bars short, but this one now? I still have three freaking quarters of a LEVEL to get before I'm "worthy" enough of accepting what I hope will be the waking you know who quest towards the end of the zone.

And yeah, yeah – I know. There's non main line quests that are optional. Well guess what? IF I HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO GET ENOUGH XP TO BE ABLE TO DO THE MAIN LINE QUESTS THEY AREN'T FUCKING OPTIONAL!!!!
