Not sure you will be getting the best gear from pvp when the stats on the vendor are bad. So much crit/vers. I also don't think the PVP trinket bonus is working.
WoW devs should take a page from dota, which has master the art of balancing over the past two decades. Mpst changes are incremental, one spell can bave it's mana cost increased by 2% or one hero can have its armor changed by one and that's it. It's easier to get it right with frequent tiny changes than big ones.

Some years ago I also thought that I just need templates and no gear progression for PVP. I was wrong. I realized, most of the time the progression of "getting stronger" motivates me to play the game.

I stay Kyrian on my ret and I think I try switching out ringing clarity for the TV enhancement (the one that gives you a chance 39% to make TV deal another 30% more dmg)
And then go Templar verdict talent on the first row in my talents to put all my damage into big TV crits. I’m pretty sure this will play our superior to ringing clarity.
And I go for sanctified wrath instead of final reckoning. Rets are still fine we just need to assimilate to the new meta
BTW I just watched pikaboo Streaming arena as a „nerfed“ rogue he played 1vs2 on 2000! RATING and BEAT the enemy rogue before his healer could even shield or heal. Rogues needed a MUCH BIGGER nerf than this
Aaaaah, the hunter tears, I love them, you know when playing the FOTM spec and your globeling ppl you will get nerfed…. And about rogues, I think the whole blizzard staff plays them so they Wil always be overtuned
Going to have to disagree on this one for the fear of damage being nerfed in pvp.
Rogues and hunters provided no counter play, comps like double hunter rogue are viable in 3v3. 1 Hunter can pretty much insta drop a teammate, between a sap- cheap shot on kill target and hunter unload its not live able.
The patch adjustment just forces the hunter to use more of their kit instead of camoflauge aimshot doubletap. I dont see them as useless either, good hunters still kite and put up huge ranged pressure. Scatter shot, freezing trap, counter shot, tar traps, mid fight pet summons for specific skills, and still being the only ranged class to pressure and kill through LoS, I dont think they are getting enough credit to the rest of their kit.
I think the way paladins divine toll conduit was made was stupid. It was an Rng chance to just crush something. Its not fun for either player participating since its a coin flip feels bad moment. I would have preferred a conduit rework to something less impactful and more consistent. Even after being on my pally I have no problem killing things in my burst windows.

I don’t want to see BFA style gameplay but there is an arguement to be made that it was still of a higher skill gameplay compared to pressing around 3-4 buttons to kill someone and not using characters huge kit.
The pace is welcome for a short time but I still don’t agree with the mentality of “Just wait until the end of the expansion when we have more HP then damage will be balanced”. Waiting months for a possible fix is part of the reason why this game is always a mess. Players will lose interest and move on playing this waiting game.

-mm hunter still hurts, but definitely could fall off with hp pools as you said
-ret Paladin still slaps, I had a ven ret drop ashen hollow and hammer of wrath crit me for 7800
-sub rogues are still egregious, liking me in the opener through defensive stance and other drs 80% of the time
Yeah but Rogue has a way higher skill cap than Ret or MM and nerfing it hard will hurt a lot more of the player base imho. There are not many that can take full effective advantage of the kit apart from pro streamers etc.
Hunter is nowhere dead. Instead of one shotting you with aimed we will take explosive shot and use rapid fire with double tap to do the same thing

NO this is wrong by the end of the season you will have been farmed in pvp by mythic + players in better gear. They will be in the top tiers of pvp and without gear that is competitive unless you are a massively talented player 2200+ you will not be able to overcome the gear advantage and get good pvp gear to be competitive. This is again blizzard giving pve players the advantage in pvp. Where is the reduced item level for pve gear in pvp content??? SCRAPPED and a real kick in the nuts the pvp trinkets that increase versatility with the two slot bonus will increase pve gear versatility making the mythic + gear the best in all content and putting pvp players at the back of the bus. At this point without a 3 million player strike and a massive revenue loss $15.00×3,000,000 = $45,000,000 due to the treatment of pvp players Blizzard will never change anything the people in charge of development do not like pvp and the corporate end does not care what they do as long as the bottom line is intact. The devo teams have spent at least 8 years killing pvp forcing players to quit by making terrible choices that made pvp awful or just out right ignoring pvp and now that they got what they wanted they can say well the pvp player base is small so why do anything to please them if it upsets pve players, even if battlegrounds are a second or third gameplay option for pvers. How many new pvp maps are planned for Shadlowlands? How many new arena maps? NONE, maybe they will throw something in there last minute but look at all the new pve content and remember the only thing pvp players get is vendors something 15 years old not one single new addition to pvp. At 550 conquest it will take 4 weeks to get the 1800 needed to get a pvp weapon from the vendor and if that was even across the board I would not mind but mythic not being on a lock of some sort means for any class that relies on weapons for damage I.E. rogues, warriors, hunters, pallys, druids this is massive and means they have to grind not just run but grind pve content to get weapons to stay competitive. Pvp power and resilience is the only way to truly keep the two balanced but Blizzard will never do it because pve players would not have the advantage and that is the real goal destroy pvp so all pvp first players leave then make pvp more in line with what pve players want. IT IS NOW REQIRED TO DO PVE IN ORDER TO PVP BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PVP IN ORDER TO PVE ARE WE SEEING THE GD PROBLEM HERE PVP IS DEAD TIME TO W.O.D. AND UNSUB. CYBERPUNK 2077 INC

Thank you for not running a hate train on ret paladin. I play ret and it was strong. Divine toll needed to be adjusted. But I am just astonished that paladin got nerfed more than sub rouge… not sure who made that call… divine toll was strong but now I’m afraid it’s unplayable. Having the covenant ability possibly be a second, weaker judgement is kind of asinine. If you’re gonna take some damage maybe bump our mobility a bit?
Imo the pace of pvp should be somewhere in the middle. Dragging out a game to where no one dies until a certain % of dampening sucks but getting global or 2 shot at the start before you can really do anything sucks even more. Several times in a skirmish I seen ppl I'm qued with or myself get immediately killed to the point the other team even messaged me saying damn I didnt expect to 1 shot someone, gg. Ya that blows. No fun at all.
I think the reason why they are not trying to big nerf rogue in pvp is because they don’t want to fuck over the sub rogues that do pve like my self. So if they do hard nerf rogue they are going to get complaints from the pver’s and that’s no good because they are focusing on that this expac
Good, fuck Marksman hunters. You should not be able to one cycle someone through defensives with 10k overkill in 3 seconds. Now work on rogues and pvp might not become a dumpster fire.
