  1. I trust your vids Kala, but wowmeta projections as of October 5th scare me.. they are showing Destro yet again eclipsing affliction and demonology making destro the only competitive DPS just like it was in BFA. And here I thought I was excited to have an actual choice in which spec I have fun with because they are all competitive. The reason I don't like destro is it reminds me too much of fire mage,.. where as Affliction and Demonology feel more like what a warlock should be. SO I REALLY hope I am not pigeon holed into destro yet again!

  2. really like what you've articulated with the covenant abilities- enables each to have their niche where they shine, but as you're laying it out it keeps tuning pretty close so that there aren't obvious outliers, and gives players who care about performance more freedom to pick what's best for their preferred content, or just which covenant they like the best and still feel good about it

My main feedback for Warlock is to change/buff grimoire of sacrifice and I really hope you can relay my feedback to blizzard.

I don't know why grimoire of sacrifice has to be so crappy, ever since they changed it in MoP I felt like grimoire of sacrifice was just poorly designed. I have tested grimoire of sacrifice VS my pets and I can clearly see that the damage of grimoire of sacrifice is lackluster. While my pets do MORE damage and ALWAYS deal damage. Grimoire of sacrifice SOMETIMES deals damage and deal LESS damage.

I am a high-end warlock raider and I NEVER felt the need to pick or wanted to pick grimoire of sacrifice. In my opinion, grimoire of sacrifice is a DEAD talent.

Also the hassle of maintaing it is just annoying. EVERY 60min re-summon my pet to sac it. I really don't feel need the RP need to re-summon and kill off my pet again every 60min.

    How to fix it?

    1) Make grimoire of sacrifice work like lonewolf. Aslong as you have no pet, you gain grimoire of sacrifice.
    SIMPLE QoL
2 ) BUFF grimoire of sacrifice

    3) Change grimoire of sacrifice

    Example change:

-Grimoire of sacrifice now gives you 3% hp every 3 sec and you deal 15% more damage with your DoTs and direct damage spells.

And yes, I 100% agree Fire and Brimstone really needs a buff, when you look at the other options, especially Cataclysm, there is NO choice there.

  4. Hello, thanx for amazing content, its great to have a dedicated lock like u around! I mained lock whole BFA and suffered in m+ as all the other fellow locks. For shadowlands im thinking to switch to shadow priest. What would you say in terms of playstyle ( not numbers as there will be lots of tuning) comparing spri to affli lock? i will be focusing rbgs alot, raids and m+, thanx alot in advance. Btw i dislike demo alot:)

  5. Thanks for the updated video. I've played demo since they let us have the different specs and it feels like it's this <–> close to being just on a level footing with everyone else. Just a couple of changes and it wouldn't feel so lackluster. I think a large part of my problem is the 6 second delay. I mean, seriously, they give me a spec that is built upon its demons and minions, then handicap me by not letting me actually use them. I spent so much of the time I played in the beta just twiddling my thumbs as I waited for them to come off cooldown. I'm so disappointed. Normally, they trash it all to hell and back for an expansion and I've basically had to relearn it every time. Now when I really needed them to do something like that, they didn't do anything.

  6. thanks for the video Kalamazi. Demo truly needs to have grimoire of felguard reduced to 1.5 min cd and most important is the tyrant to be an instant cast instead of 1.7sec cast,( on top of that it has to cast demonfire). Also I was thinking of a way to fix the AI of the Tyrant, instead of having a cast time of 1 sec (i am not sure how much) it should have a CD of 1sec and making the demofire instant. So when in M+ and PVP the tyrant is not so useless while moving.
All other spec have to main pet (infernal and darkglare) instant, while we "the demonology master" has to cast for the big pet, nonsense to me.

  7. maybe a solution for demo would be that he could summon pets while moving (not hand of guldan would be too mobile for the class toolkit ) , tyrants would be much better to perform in raid and m+, also make the tyrant a shorter cast time on base with 1.5, a bit tuning to some spells . Netherportal should have a 1sec cdr. per imp died and an additional affect that your imps are now doing now also 50% of their damage as cleave to 4 more targets. this way they just need to fix some numbers
only thing they realy fixed with the specc was to make VOP Main work šŸ˜› at the moment XD . Destro would be nice if they add a mechanic where the cast time gets every time randomly reduced. random by 5- 25 % makes it better feel with the playstyle . but think there wont be much more changes

  8. Question for fellow warlocks:

I took a 10 year break from wow to go to school and came back a few months ago. I most recently leveled up a warlock in preparation for SL. Currently he is affliction. So anyways… I went into a mythic dungeon and another affliction warlock happened to be with us. He was upset about something about my style of play, so he switched to destro. Anyone know the reason what he could've been upset about? I don't have the faintest idea, any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.

  9. @Kalamazi just fucking rocks so hard. The more I listen to this guy, the more I see the absolute passion for the class and presenting this to the community. I mean look at this at 38:19, the man is livid with Blizzard he is simply lost for words. Man I’m loving rolling warlock this tier because I know I’m in safe hands with Kala.

  10. problem with chaos bolt is the same during legion: the rest of the toolkit does too much dmg, so chaos bolt needs to be weaker for the spec to remain balanced.
currently it's infernal taking too much of a profile on our dmg, infernal needs to be severely nerfed for chaos bolt to be buffed.
