Shroud CALLS OUT Boomer Valorant Pros

Shroud was co-streaming Valorant Champions with Hiko on Twitch when he told the 100 Thieves streamer that Valorant wasn’t a game for boomers, and that Hiko should retire.

Shroud dropped a hot take on Hiko’s career when the 100 Thieves star joined his Valorant Champions Twitch stream, saying that Valorant wasn’t an old man’s game, and that boomers like Hiko need to retire to streaming. Hiko didn’t even take offense, as he agreed with Shroud that older pros had a harder time in Valorant because you needed incredible reflexes to click heads in Valorant.

Hiko then asked Shroud when Shroud would possibly retire from streaming and just walk away and live on the beach, and the Twitch star once again said he couldn’t see himself doing that any time soon. Shroud also admitted that he hadn’t even used aimlab in years, because he stopped caring about improving about 2 years ago, which Hiko pointed out was right around the time Shroud got the bag from Mixer.

Shroud tried to play it off, asking why everyone kept mentioning this mythical bag, as if Mixer hadn’t paid him 10 million when the platform collapsed, but Hiko and the rest of the stream were having none of it. But what do you think about Shroud and Hiko’s take on Valorant boomers? Let us know if you really think it’s a young man’s game in the comments.

  1. Shroud was born 94 that makes him Gen Y aka millennials, The guy he’s talking about is in his 30s also millennial boomers are in their 60s and in between that is Gen X

  2. lol Shroud said in a different video that you could play competitively at like 50! 😂 Totally contradicting himself! Sometimes any little thing they say in a 12 hour stream could be taken and ran with. Maybe Shroud secretly wishes that he was still competing. But it didn't go so well recently when he tried. Oh but he was just having fun! Well, so is Hiko! lol 😂👍👽

  3. I don't think he should retire for being a Boomer, I think he should and MOST old/CSGO washed players should just leave so there is space for new talent. 50% if not more of the VAL pro scene is all CS players and I would love to see new talent.

  5. Unless your 50+, what slows people down is life, not reaction time. The older you get the more stuff you have going on and to think about. Esports has always leaned younger because it’s difficult to make a living and maintain a normal life, with a few exceptions.
