I feel kinda bad for the original creators.
This might just be me but as a artist i wouldn't really like someone taking my art without my permission. An "making it better" sure it may actually be better. But it feels like a smack in in face that essentially says, "hey, i made your thing better than you." I hope the creature asked permission at least.
