So I bought this game, and It felt a little slow and a little under developed. I wonder if it's cause I didn't get far enough. It kinda fel tlike I was playing an old Dos platformer or something. Not something awesome like dead cells or hades. I don't know, should I give it another shot? It looks so much better in this review than it did when i played it
Honestly it is such a fun game, you can get extremely strong combinations that almost feel like cheating, but that is the fun of it, how absurdly strong you can become and the satisfaction of seeing health bars get melted. It was honestly completely worth the price, if rogue likes are up your alley this game is a must.
Can someone confirm or deny if David Peacock did the music on this game? I've definately gotten rogue legacy vibes. This is the spiritual successor to rogue legacy. Not rogue legacy 2-the cash grab.

I love how Brian Altano's frustration is palpable in some of this script.
Between skul, cybershabow, hollow knight, blastphamous and dead cells this is pure gaming. Oh and Hades.

Something pretty neat I noticed is that the lelana sisters boss fight looks exactly like the battle sisters from hollow knight. Cool.
