  1. Shaving off your physical and psychological limitations sounds somewhat like Palahniuk's idea of self destruction, that is the opposite of embracing your limitations and living with them (which is self improvement).
That Camoran dude is fucking Tyler. Durden

  2. I just had a thought you guys might appreciate – for ES6 , it’s almost indefinitely in hammerfell. Do you think the island of Stros M’kai will feature in the main game, or in a giant pirate themed DLC expansion? You may have mentioned in previous videos however the idea of it becoming add on seems like a thing Bethesda would do.

  4. Holy shit the razors a pandimensional razor!!!! It’s allows to pluck and severe the threads or reality, fate, and time!!!!! Oh man that’s cool! The reason it sometimes kills instantly is because it severs the victims life or soul from their body!!!! Oh my god the tool isn’t for killing it’s for so much more… the question is if it takes more than willing it to do something to be able to mess with reality!!!

  5. It always confused me why the Daedric prince of destruction's artefact is a spicy looking butter knife instead of a massive fuckoff battleaxe or something like that.

  6. I feel you may have misunderstood what Camoran did to himself. In the mythic dawn first commentaries Camoran speaks of going into seclusion, something happening to cause him to "speak with a new voice" after he "offered himself to that daybreak". All of this suggests that he used the razor to kill himself but for whatever reason it severed his connection to the mortal realm instead thereby making him immortal like Daedra.

Being just like Daedra, he was not bound to just one form upon ressurection. Indeed, Daedra can look totally different upon their reincarnation. It would therefore follow that Camoran would now be able to take the form of any mortal race – including being Dragonborn. In the same commentaries he says, "Mankar Camoran was once you, asleep, unwise, protonymic, but Am No More". The word protonymic is a word created by TES writers and based upon words like matronymic which means to have a name based upon your mother. Protonymic therefore means "before named". What is interesting with this is that in order to summon Daedra, you need to know their true name. Camoran now had a true name as well which is further proof that he was like a Daedra.

So, what this all means is that Camoran simply used Mehrunes razor on himself after retreating to solitude when no one would listen to his preaching. He tried to commit suicide but actually severed his connection to Nirn and became like a Daedra with all the benefits and drawback which come from that existence.

  7. You know, with the Skelton Key you could theoretically unlock the Razor's ability to effect Mehrunes Dagon, thereby unlocking it's true potential of effecting the only entity it was ever prevented from effecting.

With the power of the key and razor you could bypass any barriers and reshape the entire world as you see fit.

The Dragonborn has access to both of these items. If they were to ever discover this fact, there isn't an Aedra or Daedra powerful enough to stop them if they so chose. They could transcend any and all limitations and become a true god

  10. I don't recall Almelexia or Sotha Sil of the tribunal achieving chim, we know Vivec had from his sermons. But I was under the impression that the other two had only achieved their pseudo-divinity by siphoning the heart of Lorkhan's power, not the waking realization.

  11. On a semi-related note since it's mentioned in this video:
Oblivion happens only 6 years after Morrowind. Why does nobody mention the death of Sotha Sil, Almalexia, and disappearance of Vivec?
I know it's in Cyrodiil but that's pretty huge for three living gods to disappear and nobody in other provinces mentions it

  12. It's kinda scary to have the timeline of the games put into perspective: the fact that Oblivion takes place only two years after Morrowind, but Skyrim takes place a full 200 years after Oblivion. This makes you wonder how old some characters actually are, like Cicero who is cited to have been in Cyrodiil prior to the fall of the Imperial City, and, to an even greater extent (assuming it's the same person each time) M'aiq, who, according to this, is over 200 years old.

  13. I side Stormcloak because they have a better goal, to free Skyrim. People say that they will ban all non Nords, but those non Nords are still a part and a strong one at that, to there economy. From the trade caravans to dark elf fishermen in Riften, all these races are important for Skyrim to survive as an independent nation. In Windhelm, the racist comments made toward the dark elf population are due the dark elves not really being to affected by the treaty with the Dominion. Also most nords fought for the Empire, so they might have some rough feeling from having fought a war against an eleven race. It’s like with the COVID-19 virus. When they say someone at your school got, you don’t know who and become suspicious of people who maybe stay home for a few days. I believe that the new independent Skyrim, and the Empire could make an alliance when both nations are stronger to try to free Tamriel from the Thalmor. Also, the nords have something that they are fighting for, where as the Imperial Legion does not. This could make the drive for the Stormcloaks grater than that of the Empire which in turn could have an effect on the war. Plus, if Talos is a real deity (as most are in the elder scrolls) he would most likely favour the Stormcloak Rebellion.
