I think controller is better in close range battles due to aim assist but no one is gonna convince me or anyone with common sense and knows what tf they talking about that controller is better then mouse and keys in long range battles.. So it's a trade off kinna right? Controller wins close range M&K wins long range most the time. Also what about the range of movement mouse and keys give you over controller? 🤔 I play on both and I hear others bringing that up as well the range of motion the moment is just so much better mouse and keys…if anything it's a trade off controller good in some areas mouse and keys superior in others am I wrong? A lot of people here are saying that they're mnk players who plugged in a controller a few times and suddenly they basically had aimbot, but my experience is very different, before I started playing apex I already had a decent amount of controller experience, but when I went into apex I could only hit like 2 r99 shots out of a single mag, I couldn't aim until like 100 hours of experience
Okay this is the truth Aim assist is absolutely broken especially with PC players honestly PC players shouldn't get any aim assist at all and console should only get .001-.2 aim assist like let's be honest here what your argument "uhhhh YoU HaVe YoUr WhOle arm To Aim🤢" yeah but depending on mouse pad size type of mouse and space of your room not to mention finding out your DPI and perfect in-game mouse sensitivity is hard asfuck like 50% of PC gamers didn't pay 3k for their PC and have B's keyboard and worst wired mouses that honestly make aim hard and clunky

"uhh You Guys Can Move And LooT 🤡" controller players can to go watch video guide on YouTube explaining how especially for PC controller players on steam you can bind buttons that allow you to do multiple things such as tap strafe move while looting and zip line double jump. if you're on Origin you have ds4 windows. console players have the option to jump and move while looting also if you can't learn and get good I've seen kids on controller loot faster then someone on mnk.

4. input lag (gold nugget) for those who don't know the whole reason you guys get aim assist at all on PC is because of input lag but you can fix this so simply by downloading lordofmice or using a PS5 controller. literally 0 input lag
6. the whole far range control is bullshit to we as humans adapt I've seen kids beam shit from half across the map on controller just like on mnk if you can't for your hot ass water.

When 95% of your fights in Apex are close range, then controller is a problem, I'm so glad the pros are saying something.
I say we leave MnK movement and aim assist as is, just give us the option to disable crossplay. If someone chooses to play against players on a different platform then they get what they get.

Man I always used to hate on Snipe simply because of the fact that he is a controller player, but the fact that he acknowledges the truth of playing on controller, I got respect for him now. To be fair everyone I've played with who is half decent at the game all acknowledge that controller is OP, even if they use it themselves. Respect to Snipe. The problem with aim assist is that it completely changes the way you have to play the game. You don't just have to outplay the opposite player anymore, you have to outplay aim assist too, which leads to having to use cover more, not always taking those 50/50 fights, because a 50/50 against a controller, without proper cover, is just 9/10 guaranteed death.
