The characters name in the teaser is Mr. L, not to be confused by the character in Super Paper Mario. He comes from the game Too Late.exe and the story is that when Mario broke the bridge and sent Bowser into the lava, Luigi was on the other side and he died. And Mr L is pretty much the embodiment of Mario's guilt. The game ends with Mario suffering the same fate as his brother.

Well, we got teasers for some songs, we know some stuff, and we also know that MM is doing "Beta testing", so it's kinda close to release, but it will depend on how many things they'll need to fix.

The original overdue was scrapped because the composer (iamdadogeofdafuture) was framed by some Mario’s madness devs or racism and other shit. Doge was subsequently kicked from the team. Later Marco and doge worked stuff out and they are still on good terms, however doge decided not to return to the Mario’s madness team. And FriedFrick was tasked with making the remaster.
For a second I thought the first song in the background with the skeleton body was the Mario’s madness teaser, the character I thought was named “SkeleMario” 💀
cool but pico's vocals dont change pitch and it makes the song sound boring
